Im a man. Ive had both mine pierced 3 different times. Right now I have two 1/2inch 10g titanium bent bars, going to 8gs eventually. My personal preference is to just do it. It does hurt pretty bad, but the pain is almost instantly gone. They should bleed after being pierced that's how you know the piercer did it right. I can say that I love my piercings and they def increase the pleasure in my nips. My word of advice, ONLY GO TO PROFESSIONALS. Get done right the first time.
