Played that mod 5 years ago, still give me nightmares.

At exact that part my gun ran out of ammo and I had to kill the entire zombie wave with a f*kken knife all the while listening to that weird russian rock!

They take two slashes from the front or one from the back if I am not mistaken, the thrilling part was luring the zombies to that place with two doors outrun them and stab them on the back from the other door.

@v1lle3 when i saw this mod on the moddb top 10 spookiest mods video i started to download paranoia because i thinlk its good and then i typed the first bunker map in to go to the lab too now what the zombies look like i saw a dead body then picked up the gun then i walked where the zombie is sleeping and i now what he looks like now he has his whole body redned with blood and orange doted eyes and no hair. when i finished my sentance the part where the zombie wakes up had made me jump a bit :)

@336Roach Killing Floor was originally a free UT2k4 mod. Version 1.0 was released in 2005, years before the first L4D got out. After that there was two major version released, 2.0 and 2.5, latter being the last mod version and closest to the current retail release.

The Steam version of KF was developed by Tripwire, the creator of the Red Orchestra -games. They had won a modding competiton with their RO mod, and as the award they got license for the UT2.5 engine, for which KF was then ported.

@Corkoth55 Nope, you're wrong. They started producing GP-5 masks in 1970's (stopped in late 80's), so they had not used any dangerous chemicals in the filters for decades anymore. It's all active charcoal and filtering fabrics.

The masks themselves are just rubber. Bit unconfortable and scary looking, but they've been proven to be actually quite working things in late tests.

Yea, fraps shows totally wrong. I wasn´t even supposed to have it running :P

When I recorded I did it in a pretty different way, known in frag movies, using cl_avidemo command in the console.

It´s recorded in 50, but with media player the film is running at 25 or 30.

Hey guy's, just so you all know, this was ported to Dreamcast, using the unreleased HL1 game that was leaked as the engine for it. It is by far the best looking FPS on the system, as it really pushes the little white machine to its limits!

Any that have a DC and want to play this on your TV, just Google "Paranoia Dreamcast"

Well the music is from the game. I recorded without sound, but the music is there from the beginning. What is different is that you don´t hear any in-game sounds.

The only music that doesn´t belong here is the short part at the end. The clip was a bit too long, so I took another song and used a part of it. It´s still from the game, but not here in this place.

Lo0ks great, but why does it take so many headshots to kill just one zombie? That's like the zombies in Oblivion Lost. I can't stand that crap. If they were going to make it that way, they should at least have it so the zombies show battle damage. You should be able to blast their limbs off, blast chunks out of their torsos, and blow off their heads -- or blow off pieces of their heads. That's how it SHOULD be.

That's what I like about snorks in STALKER. It's so much fun to battle them because headshots are challenging to score but if you DO score a headshot on a snork, it dies as it should. Doesn't matter what caliber you use. 9x18mm, 9x19mm, 9x39mm, 5.45mm, 5.56mm, 7.62R, .45 Auto, 12-gauge slug, #4 buckshot, or what have you. I like it when stuff works right. If a zombie can withstand multiple headshots, there should be a reason for it and the NPC model should display battle damage.

That's exactly my point. The Oblivion Lost mod for STALKER has the same problem -- zombies that take dozens of shots to the head without showing any damage. Personally, I find it insulting.

In SMOD Tactical Delta 5.56 (a HL2 mod), headshots are headshots. You can play the standard game but certain things are replaced. Weapons, enemies, allies, et cetera. And zombies have their headcrabs removed. You can see their twisted faces. It's really satisfying to score a headshot on a fast zombie with a Kimber .45 as it's charging toward you.
