Hate to break it to you tee-totalers... Pipe smokers usually live longer than non smokers. The cancer is usually from a predisposition due to the shitty diet prevalent in the US. Japanese smoke like motherfuckers and cancer rates are comparatively low.

I certainly don't inhale every puff, but I like to 'retrohale' one or two through my nose so I can taste the baccy fully. A lot of cigar smokers do that.

I don't judge the inhalers. It's probably safer to do so with a fine, aged pipe blend than a flavorless, additive-laden pack of cigarettes. :)
