  • Hes a great drummer, but I could play most of those beats when i was 9. Also, nice cymbals man!

  • Im sorry but Terry just ruined That!

  • He is very advanced, but not a prodigy, if it was Tony Royster Jr there he would give Terry a run on the drums.

  • Man this little 11 year old kid is rocking with a full set of K's. Talk about lucky...

  • i must ask everyone to compare cole to tony royster jr. when he was 11... ill let you decide

  • Double foot makes it sound like he's really workin it

  • you can give any kid a drumset like that and they can play it.. BETTER than that.. NOT a prodigy. instant recall? yea it's called being a drummer. drummers listen and play.

  • If I had parents like him I'd be a prodigy..

  • bozzio needs to leave

  • Damn.... he even talks like an adult.

  • I really grow tiresome of Bozzio's percussion tones.

  • It's not fair to compare Cole to Royster Jr. Or any other 10 year old drummer. Royster was and still is a phenomenal talent however, Cole is as well. To have that kind of talent at 8, 9 or even 11 years old is amazing. I to know Cole (and his parents) very well and he is a great kid and he is very humble given everything he has going for him. How about recognizing the both of them for their special talent and do not compare them.

  • I guess you could call him a Prodigy, just not a DRUMMING Prodigy in my opinion.

  • The stuff is a little advanced for his age, but nothing prodigy like. The Royster video, on the other hand, is a different story.

  • 1.58 Did he just say he put a CLIT in his ear?

We're definately dealing with a prodigy, folks!

  • what kind of drums is terry using they sound wicked

  • that last bit was tasty

  • this kids good, but i believe tony royster was so beast at the same age.

  • Check out the specs on Bozzio.

  • He doesn't traditional grip.

  • when people learn to swallow their pride, and love other peoples success as much as their own, when there's so much joy in everyone's music that it drowns out all the jealousy, the world will be a much better place to say the least.

  • he went trad and went right back, the lack of control was obvious, pretty good though

  • i see a lot of people ripping on this kid. ok youre comparing him to old prodigies like tony royster and thomas pridgen. those guys are notably ridiculous i mean they won the gc drumoff when they were like 10 years. but in the end i do agree this kids been overhyped

  • this kid is good, but Igor is still the best drum prodigy of the decade

  • Cocky

    And not to great

  • I don't see why everyone's bashing this kid? I think he's amazing, If this isn't a prodigy, who is?

  • @Undertryyke look up tony roster junior.

  • I think hes good but not a very good interviewer

  • he tries to talk like an adult lol

  • prodigy ? ..... no .... he`s obviously talented and obviously advanced for an 11 year old but he is no prodigy

  • @sweetfly66

Hi - Cole has been recognized for his talents not only with drumming but with composing, songwriting and vocal abilities, and also for having instant recall - or a musical ear that allows him to reproduce whatever he hears.

Hope that helps explain.... all the best -

  • @DrumChannelOfficial

does that mean, im a prodigy?

    im serious now.

i dont have that composing, vocal abilities and all.

but i have that instant recall thingy, being able to responded to what i hear.

im sure it doesnt. but yeah i have that. and i have been drumming for a year now.

  • @1000000jackpot777

I think when they say "instant recall thingy", they mean perfect pitch - the ability to identify any pitch without reference. Aproximately 1 in 1000 people have it.

  • @rotor9494 I don't agree. Instant recall would be photographic memory. If a person has photographic memory (instant recall) that does not mean they will also have perfect pitch. That being said, your definition of perfect pitch is correct... however studies show that approx. 1 in TEN thousand have Perfect (or absolute) pitch... not 1 in 1 thousand as you stated.

  • @DrumChannelOfficial Maybe he's just your white answer to Tony Royster Jr.

  • @sweetfly66 I add onto what DCO said, he started doing crazy awesome drumming like this at age FOUR... If you look more into Cole Marcus, you realise more how awesome he is ...

  • @sweetfly66 RIGHT!!! zzzzzzzzz

  • @sweetfly66 I guess we'll see what happens in ten years :P

  • i can do that haha but i still got respect for him hes lucky i wish i had all of the oppertunities he had

  • how old is this kid

  • @DWdrummer57

    11 years old.

    ~DC

  • dude how old is he???kids way sick with his chops

  • He's barely a kid

    But he plays nicely

  • yesssssssssssssssssssss

  • is he speaking nervously or confidently

  • look Igor Falecki

  • it's his little afro...haha!

  • tht's just not fair to be tht good
