If the black WW II fighter pilots were an average age of 25 in 1943, then by 1960 they would be 42 years old. I believe the oldest astronaut in 1960 was John Glenn. He was about 35. NASA wanted them young for obvious reasons. They had to be test pilots. How many U. S. blacks were test pilots in the 1950s? Probably one or two at the most.

This is garbage. The astronauts were picked because they were highly trained engineers and test pilots; not because they were white. In the 1950s, most blacks didn't know how to fly a model airplane so they weren't picked. Also, none of the white technicians wore white hoods. That's a lie.
