  • thats pretty good. the more effort you put in the more you get out of it. always strive to have perfect form because if you just liftin weights any kind of way j you can do some long term injury to yourself. the best way to get a ripped up body is to use your own weight. ive been liftin weights for a long time. i was weighing at 125 when i first started and now im at 160 in weight benchin 200. just work hard bud and keep a nice slow form and you will get the results you want. its a gurantee.

  • That is an OK performance (1.4 times BW), but for Christ's sake, lose some weight. If you weigh 250 aged 17, you risk a lot, healthwise (unless you're a huge ripped bodybuilder with low BF)... I did 29 reps with 65 kg/143 lbs when I weighed 66 kg/145 lbs aged 18 (height 5'9" so I was relatively thin). To bench over 100 kg 30 times aged 16, you should weigh at least ~100 kg/220 lbs (or be very short, which helps the leverage a lot). Arnold Schwarzenegger did 60 reps with 100 kg/220 lbs when in his best shape (102-107 kg/225-235 lbs bodyweight).

  • actually I am almost positive that those are 50 lb plates. We were at a real cool old school gym in Yonkers called Extreme Power Gym and they have some vintage stuff - i will check though - for now we will say its 315 so we are counting the plates at 45lbs each
