i have a macbook 13" (not a pro) but the aluminum 13. is there a way to have dual screens with my tv screen? The screen is capable of being a monitor not just a tv but i dont know how this would work with a laptop since i dont see a way of putting the AV cable or whatever from my laptop to the TV....

Well, streaming live video takes a lot of power, leaving less for me for other tasks. Also, I do a lot of video editing, which is CPU intensive, and I wanted to be able to use two monitors.

What a gloriously wasteful amount of money spending. Macs are the most overpriced underpowered machines available. Christ, just look at the specs and compare to a comparable PC. I did it for the Macbook and found PCs equal to and better than the Mac for $500 (Macbook starts at $999 - I upgraded it in their online store and the price was even higher and the other PCs were still better). Macs are nothing more than about what you think other people think of you - other Mac people...who cares?

And also, how do you think iPods became popular? Because they were great quality products. I would say the iPod touch is probably the highest grade, most versatile and capable mp3 players on the planet. Even if it didn't have the Apple logo, people would still flock to it.

Macs are made with amazing quality... I dont know about the iMac, which still does have amazing build but the MacBook Pro unibodies are made from a single brick of aluminum and carved out of that one brick so there's nothing to be stuck together...They are amazing quality!

I disagree. In a Mac, you mainly pay for the design, and the advantage of having Apple make both the software and the hardware. In a standard PC (with Windows) you mainly pay for Windows, since it costs a few hundred pounds alone. If you get a PC without an OS, or with Linux, then it's a different story. But if it comes with Windows, Microsoft make it expensive, not the PC manufacturer.
