@Silentshowshadow you can play D Am C And G and Strumming pattern you can just strum down 4 times wich is quarter note or play down up up down up up down

Wanted to learn this song for the longest time! Got my first guitar, and so I tried learning this song.. had no idea what the notes were really, besides the simple chords...

Do you know how I could play it with just the simple chords, not Am7 and such??

I really wanted to learn this song but I find myself frustrated because you seem to number the strings backwards from how I'm used to hearing them. For a VERY beginner guitar player (like one that doesn't even know a song yet) this is very difficult to follow. I think I'm going to have to write down what you say in the video and translate it to the way that I know the string numbers or I'm never going to be able to get it. Otherwise great video. Seems like a pretty simple song to start with

how you strum on fill ins is totally up to you, I usually strum very lightly on the bottom strings between quarter notes, but hey, be original!

Try doing mighty to save. (c,g,Em,d) All down strums and then you go two up strums for chord transition. Sounds VERY good.
