@MattSkaankRatt I can talk about how much more work water based inks are 'all day' and people will still use them. Their quality and usability does not compete with heat cure plastisol. the only people I know who use water base inks HAVE toi for some reason. It is like that yappy dog next door that you cannot get rid of, but you wish you could. When it gets yappy ENOUGH...you will! Water based inks make you a slave to air temps and specific speeds and are limited quality result at best.
@michaelrepent Only time is gonna heal THAT wound. There is NOTHING about a yudu that copies anything from pro screen printing tech. It is as if they hired somebody to do it all wrong and then somebody ELSE said: "Hey!...you know how much money people will pay to do things the wrong way!?" And henceforth shall it be written that many ignorant and well meaning souls did followeth the Yudu beast into the pit, where there was weeping and gnashing of teeth. Woe unto those that go unto Yudu.
@michaelrepent for what shall it profiteth a man who sayeth: behold! My lawn is green...and yet dog poop layeth strewn about unto the ends of the lawn. He shall rend his garment day and night as he see(eth)that his neighbor hath a smaller lawn with no dog poop upon it. Then shall his neighbors rise up with shovel and axe and rend the proud man even though his lawn be green, for he hath not the knowledge of the evil that dog poop did bring upon it. And his sons and daughters shall lament.
@mikenuttall currently, shipping breaks are NOT set up to help the 'little guy'. If I was having my stuff made for next to nothing in China(MADE IN USA)and was a big company dropping big quantities with foreing retailers...I would get a shipping deal that would be feasible for you and me. Unfortunately...to ship one 'here and there' is extremely cost prohibitive. I hope to find something reasonable but I have not as of yet. I VERY much appreciate your interest evenso.
I build equipment for screen printers....IMO: others see those who want to screen print and seek to milk you like you were a cow. THAT makes me mad...it makes me sick...it makes me even more intent on doing what I do for the sake of those who want to get into a trade I really know and enjoy. Screen printing is like a 'park' there are those who come to enjoy it and make it better and there are those who come to use it and leave their JUNK behind for others to clean up!
@law244 Curing ink is not a matter of the press type...curing is what you do to the print when it is done and OFF the press. YuDu does not send or mention the use of plastisol inks. However, you can substitute such inks for the water based ink. And heat cure your prints. Please don't confuse my comparison videos with me having ANYplans to become a YuDu tech. IMO: Calling YuDu a 'screen printing press' is like putting a saddle on a dog...and calling it a 'horse'. I DO NOT TECH ASSIST RE: YUDU.
@law244 (ran out of room). Evenso...I appreciate your position and taking interest to ask your question. Honestly...get rid of the YuDu. You will be more sooner than later, better for it. Screen Printing IS and deserves better than that 'thing', and SO 'DU YU!
I apologize for having no soundtrack on this video. "if I had a HAMMER' comes to mind. (:
