Other then the AWFUL number 2, this is all GOOD R&B/Hip Hop/Soul songs. Almost every single one. And it shows how my generation(this was my junior year in high school) was changing cuz starting the next year, 1994, I was listening to almost all grunge/rock and didn't look back. crazy how I remember Shai, Jade, H Town, Jodeci and the such but would never listen to anything like that today

@TheMosaico522 this was where mtv started going down hill. all the 80s bands were gone and music hit a dark turn with grunge

@TheMosaico522 Agreed. Even though those three years were a lot heavier on the '90s side, they still had some '80s left in them. 1994-1996 were 100% '90s.

"If I Ever Fall In Love" went to #2 Hot 100 behind The Heights before "I Will Always Love You" kept it at the runner-up slot for 7 non-consecutive weeks ("Rump Shaker" went to #2 for 3 weeks). It reached #1 R&B a week before the latter moved 3-1 and held it to #2 for a then-record 9 weeks.
