  • As not-an-avation-geek and Farnborough first timer I was rather skeptic about "cargo plane" shows but this one blew my mind!

  • Best display on Saturday's Farnborough airshow. Wonderful and very good pilots.

  • This aircraft stole the show.for me. Its maneuverability was amazing. Looping a twin engined cargo plane takes it all. Italy should be rightly proud of this plane!!

  • @pontiacgpuk

I agree, aside from walking out of one of the halls and the A380 pulling up right over me, The C-27 was the highlight of the day for me, especially the sideslip and recovery at 3:58, that was just incredible.

  • Wonderful aircraft and unbelievably maneuverable!

  • forza italy

  • Impressive!

  • proudly lolz

  • Proudly "Made in Italy"

  • @Rino7617 The Pentagon has betrayed Italy again. They want 21 C27-J (at the low prices proposed by Alenia 5 years ago in order to win the original $6 billion contract) to re-sell them to other countries at higher prices. Australia among them. It would jeopardize Alenia´s market and destroy 1000 jobs in Italy. It´s just disgusting. Alenia has announced today that they would not provide those 21 airplanes to the Pentagon. Of course, Italy should also cut the F35 mega-order down to zero.
