@TheEarthforge Far from crazy, this was a special song for myself and an ex-girlfriend many years ago. Not sure why, as the lyrics are quite sad, but we loved the song.

He is saying that he is the dust in the wind, the stars in the sky and the wind in the trees. In other words, his spirit will live forever.

I think i really start to understand this song. its not sad but the opposite. it s about the secret hope thats inside every man. the narrator is talking about something or someone ( a woman maybe) that awaits for him to come. that seems clearly on the way timo sings. the question i s" will you wait for me forever" and the untold answer is "yes"

What happened to this style of music? This could easily rival today's contemporary artists, like Celine Dion, or whatever, Power ballads like this are deffinately where its at. This band has amazing metal as well, which makes them beyond perfect.
