1st: Wow, wow is good for leveling you can literally level form 1 to 50 in 2 hours, ive tried but thats not fun, and the graphic's are cartoon, The intro is AWESOME and i wish eq2 could do that, Plus wow does not have Houses which is an extraordinary patr of EQ2
Eq2: Has Houses, Along with Prestige Housing, more races including FreeBlood ( There must be a war with Eq2's Freeblood and Wow's Worgens)! More Classes and Detailed Character Customations! Both are Good!
I've played Eq1 , I've played WoW , and now i play Eq2. All three have their ups and downs. Yes, it is alot more difficult to level and get gear in Eq than WoW but you all dont have to cut eachother down just cause you like one or the other. In my opinion anyone who slams on someone else for liking a different game is very childish.

I mean it was awsome intill wraith came out. Actually, EverQuest (the original) is known as the father, or even grandfather in some places...of all MMORPG's... sony took a big leap when they marketed it, and it cleared the way for all the other MMORPG's.
For starters, the only good looking gear is the level 60/removed-from-game gear. Level 69-79 gear looks the exact-fucking-same. Level 80 you need to spend hours and hours inside of Raids in order to get decent "looking" gear which is complete bullshit.
As for system requirements, Northrend brough so many people's computers to their knees because it really isn't "ezmode" unless you put your graphics to ultra-low, which ruins the game. For me, anyway.
i would rather die than play a game full of sad pale white kids that listen to heavy metal and commit suicide after quiting their job and playing 20 hour shifts of eq2. im sorry it just seems really really sad to me.

Umm well if im correct.. the people that play wow arent looking for a challenge just to be babied through a game with add ons.. I know a 7year old that plays wow, i havent met higher than a 12 year old on EQ and without EQ wow wouldnt be here so learn where the fuck everything started as an MMORPG

I find it funny that you say EQ2 is better because i have played them both, i have the best out of the top 3 fire mages in the game called Xendaria look her up, and i have the top healing priest on my server in WOW and to tell you the truth WOW is much better than EQ2 + if you look at the ratings WOW has passed EQ2, WOW=FTW

yeh wow has all the cool crap at like lvl 60+. at least in EQ2 u can have simple steel armor at like lvl 5. but they r both fun but im an EQ player cause i started playin in 03 so i played it before wow came out. also hunters in wow are a lot better than rangers in EQ tho...

I like eq2 but wow has some things going for it over eq2
1. Gear, Though everything in eq2 is graphically better it really lacks the cool crazy gear like in WoW.
2. System requirements, WoW is ezmode when it comes to running it, another reason it is full of nubs but good for poor people.

For starters, the only good looking gear is the level 60/removed-from-game gear. Level 69-79 gear looks the exact-fucking-same. Level 80 you need to spend hours and hours inside of Raids in order to get decent "looking" gear which is complete bullshit.
As for system requirements, Northrend brough so many people's computers to their knees because it really isn't "ezmode" unless you put your graphics to ultra-low, which ruins the game. For me, anyway.

Ok wtf is the point in arguing, Some like Eq2 and some like wow . Do all have to like to play wow or play eq2 NO! So What the prob. i know that Maybe Both games have there ups and downs. Like wow maybe is a little cartoony but still is great to play, great spells and Fun events. you know it's impossible for these idiots to understand the massive amounts of lore that EQ franchise has... it was originally a ADnD campain... not to mention it has almost as many races on the evil side as WoW has all together... and the epic solo quests that put you in the lore of the game.
