@thewease47 Get a Stockpad and play on ONE drum mostly. And get a lot of sheet music that's your level and learn it. You'll get faster at learning music and playing with good sound quality. When you play on the drums, it should feel the same as it did when you played on ONE drum. Everything in this video is explained very clearly, so it shouldn't confuse you.

Just spend a lot of time on the drums. Play the fast technique SLOWLY. Get the muscle memory, and then take it up a little bit. Watch the videos on the Vic Firth site on the "get good quick plan".

how do i get my double stroke rolls faster?

Our Tech had us start rolling 3 times a day for a minute (thats continuous dont stop no matter how much it burns) at 75 BPM and then every day we either had to increase the speed by 5bpm or increase the length by 30 seconds... it builds really fast! and a couple of weeks ago we were able to roll for 37 mins straight on a bus cause we were heading to competition...

the band hated us after that

im still working on mastering it perfect, and ive been doing it for about 2 months, but not constantly. so if you were set on learning it, im sure you could do it in about a week, just make sure to be able to double stroke evenly
