I think Cotto fought like a moron to be honest. I'm a huge fan of Miguel Cotto but I've watched that fight several times. while the damage to cotto's face is definitely suspect, the thing i found strange was that Cotto was headhunting in that fight. the patented body blows were practically non existent. Margo has a GREAT chin but with enough body blows even the best of chins can be overcome. Margo was able to dominate cotto later on because cotto hardly went for the body. cotto fought wrong.

Yeah he's pretty good, he's almost impossible to KO, he's been TKO'd (stopped) but not knocked out, I watched the full fight of him and Shane Mosley, it was a good fight, Shane Mosley has speed beyond belief and Margo couldn't keep up with it, he was taking right hands over and over for 10 rounds and never got KO'd, he got knocked down in the 9th, then stopped in the 10th, but he's a good fighter, funny thing is, he beat Miguel Cotto, Shane Mosley lost to Cotto, Shane Mosley beat Margo, lol.

I think Cotto fought like a moron to be honest. I'm a huge fan of Miguel Cotto but I've watched that fight several times. while the damage to cotto's face is definitely suspect, the thing i found strange was that Cotto was headhunting in that fight. the patented body blows were practically non existent. Margo has a GREAT chin but with enough body blows even the best of chins can be overcome. Margo was able to dominate cotto later on because cotto hardly went for the body. cotto fought wrong.

You can say whatever you want about the Cotto-Margarito fight; if Margo had plaster in his gloves we will never know, but the lesson of the fight is that Cotto doesn't have enough power to KO Margo. He (Cotto) hitted him with everything for 5 rounds to no avail. So whine everything you want, it's going to be the same if they ever fight again. Mark my words, Margo *will* return and he's going to avenge his loss to Mosley.

Why? We all should take that fight in doubt, cause the chance that Margarito cheated there is very big. Don't get me wrong, I'm a Margarito fan and I hope he comes back stronger than ever, but don't forget what happened. i agree hating on a fighter is wrong. but in this case its diffrent. i HAVE put on a pair of gloves, without plaster in em too. and i have gotten into that ring. thats why i dont want some punk putting bricks down his gloves, the sport is dangerous enough. it takes cheating to a whole other level.
