  • insanely fast rpm

  • WDF this video is of iloveoov.

iloveoov was one of the slowest apm progamers at that time but he still had well over 280 apm.

this video shows a 5 second clip of his game vs julyzerg

    how could this get dislikes?

  • press 8 rapidly :)

  • Do you wank with those hands? :O

  • Damacia?

  • @latsabb99 i know who he is becuase I'm korean. one of the legendary players in sc1. iloveoov

used to be the one of the best terran player in sc1...

  • @dHoDrummer how do u know who he is?

  • I'm pretty sure the only thing that happened was the camera moving :o

  • 4 sec/ -1013

recor de la vidéo la plus noobe

  • 1000 people are disliked..

    lol

  • wat

  • 10 ex wasted...

    5 sec for vid

2 sec for thumbing up highest rated comments

    sigh...

    and rest for commenting..

I got around seven seconds. That's not too bad, is it?

  • wtf is this shit

  • 10 sec wasted...

    5 sec for vid

2 sec for thumbing up highest rated comments

    sigh...

    and rest for commenting..

  • @DaMnUFo0 You wrote that in 3 seconds? well then you must be the player in the video...

  • @wileib1 additional seconds after 10 sec QQ

  • dt408sc02 can you tell me from what video did you cut this off?? I know this game is OOV vs JulyZ , but this music is from some video i watch long time ago and cant remember....

  • this actually isn't a fail... this was in a pimpest plays... what he did is split his units perfectly to 3 (or 2) Lurkers then did the "insanly fast" APM

  • insanely bad graphics

  • this is iloveoov playing ... hes normal apm is around 250-280apm but he can easy go with 330... some of best TvZ come right from that man!

  • thats only about 300ish...

  • Dude this video is awesome! Holy shit! It's like, dude kill the monsters LoL!

  • He presses rax and maked marrines... wow micro like crazy. He/she isn't bad but not really worth putting on youtube...

  • Any video with 75%+ dislikes should be deleted from Youtube.

  • @Grumpus3 so all of justin bieber would be deleted.... i like your thinking!

  • @Grumpus3 poor justin bieber!

  • o0o

  • what the song in the video?

  • Fucking shit vid.

  • best video ever... not

  • This guy is actually a korean progamer called iloveOov. I forgot what this game this was but this is where he does an epic marine micro to dodge a bunch of lurkers. You see the end of his micro at the beginning of this video.

  • @linkman22 I just found the video actually. It's iloveOov vs JulyZerg

    youtube.com/watch?v=cvqi636XxYs

at about 18 min into the video.

  • Ignore the trolls. This guy has great apm ^^

  • Well if you hotkey 6x barracks to 1,2,3,4,5,6 you just need to hold a finger above M and press 1,2,3,4,5,6 with another finger

  • @MouthofSaurons although that is a good strategy, keep in mind, youre taking up 6 hotkeys just for production. Thats why a lot of people would rather hotkey the location of the 6 barracks, and save the numbers for units and their army for micro.

  • @MouthofSaurons

sounds pretty easy, you should try it and come back do another post lol

  • @MouthofSaurons He didn't hot key them.. No progamer hotkeys more than 1-3 production buildings except to jump their screen back so they can click and hit the hotkey for the unit they want. They use all their control groups for units or their mains and expos.

  • @TrickTheMind this is completely wrong. most zerg use 4-0 for hatcheries. a lot of toss use 4-9 or 5-9 for gateways. i have no idea about terran because theyre sagi and i dont give a fuck :)

  • @peterabottt I said that they use their control groups for mains and expos. That includes hatcheries. And as for gateways, I was wrong about that sorry. :)

  • what a gay video

  • 1m2m3m4m5m6m whats the problem

  • @devoila1 No, you can see his cursor go over each of his barracks. He didn't hotkey them.

  • @devoila1 he clicked with his cursor... noob

  • stimpack.......

  • LOL was ur apm a whole 56 OOO DAMMM!!!!!!!

  • prolly 100-150 apm i an go 250-350 he suks my D

  • Thats not that hard.

  • stupid video

  • "Insanely fast APM (watch his macro - pumps from 6 rax in less than a second)"

    You sir, fail.

    Hard.

  • WOAH!

    THATS LIKE 100 APM!

  • I WANT 5 SECONDS OF MY LIFE BACK NAO

  • @signupthegold omg not a whole 5 seconds, whatever shall we do

  • Iloveoov is a great player but he is not known for fast apm.

go download his replay and run bwchart. His hand is actually slow for progamer.

  • this r teh bestest

  • lol this is stupid :D

  • LOL

  • LOL lame what was that last sound at the end?

  • @DMAN33100

the clip is taken from pimpest plays from 2004 its a song that says theyre out to get me. and in the video you just hear theyre out

  • lol what is this lmao.

  • fast? this? lol....

    look fpvod with NaDa

  • @GTPeNTer

back then this was the best quality we had, and that was fast as fuck back then.

  • @swimwithRT

don't talk about stuffs that you don't know youtube noobs.

  • @seabard77

and that is why I joined youtube a whole 3 years before you did?

  • @swimwithRT what I meant was that most people who leave comments in youtube don't know any fucking shit. I mean I saw people who said so many ridiculous crap including this one. If you actually watched starcraft and paid attention, you know that Iloveoov was not famous for his apm.

There are even ppl who said Boxer was praised when he did 3 bunker rush.

I mean wtf don't fucking talk about stuff that you don't know

  • @seabard77 Oh I gotcha. Yeah I agree. Sc feels so mainstream these days, most people have no idea how the game started it seems now. Kinda sad tbh.

  • @swimwithRT that doesnt mean u started playing starcraft a whole 3 years before him, dumbass

  • @Lucky466 lolololol you just got owned

  • Failure ftw.

  • Comment removed

  • APM = Actions Per Minute

  • the fuck is this?

  • iloveoov clicking on a shitload of barracks in like 2 seconds

  • sucker

  • that wasn't doing it simultaneously, you suck

  • loser

  • I've seen this dude in the Asia gateway called BB that had an APM of 527 in 8 minutes and total actions of 3917. Yet in-game on his replay the only thing I saw him do was wall, got 6 ling rushed, gather SCV, attacked. I had Apm of 57 in that replay ._.

  • yeah about 800 is the record.but not 800 over the whole game, just for a second or sth like that.

  • its 818,just search "july highest apm 818"

  • Why the fuck isn't it showed in a real game like to be able to SEE IT?!

  • JulyZerg peaked at 800 something APM in a match, theres a vid somewhere on youtube that confirms it

  • just because u play music like that doesnt make it any faster, thats incredibly slow considering this is just one part of a video where the apm is really fast. there is much better than this, this looks like 300 only

  • y is this dumbass commenting on every starcraft videos acting like he knows a lot? progamers get around 280~390 average...highest was by [red]nada which was 410...and "only 300"? he is playing against zerg...do u even know the average apm for t vs z games? PLEASE DELETE STARCRAFT AND START PLAYING WITH UR STUPID RUBIK'S CUBE AND POST ANOTHER VIDEO OF IT THAT NO ONE WATCHES.

  • yes "only 300" 300 is nothing special, u even said urself that programers get around 280-390, and most ppl in fpvods have around 250 or 300. search LuckyFool or maybe even Wasif1112, or anyone!

  • Lucky466//hey dumbass, find the definition "average" then say 300 apm average is not that high..WOW since I hit 750, is that my "average" APM? then progamer's apm is 900!!! THAT IS DEFINITELY THEIR "AVERAGE" APM U RETARD.

  • ur an idiot, i just said that most pro gamers have an average of around 300. and do u know what average even means?! quite a few have 400 and even higher and also some have around 230. ur telling ME to find the definition of average? and i like how u try and fail to imitate me in that last comment, as i never said any of that. and also, as i said before, this video is titled "INSANELY FAST APM", not kind of high apm. with a title like that, ud expect at LEAST 450 or something. god, what a retard

  • u both need to calm down... 350~400 average..? they are both high stop arguing..but lucky, you're wrong....as dreamtheater said, highest was by lee yoon yul, korean progamer during his match against boxer(lim), and his average hit 410..I still remember watching that live = )

  • have u even watched related videos?! pretty much the first related video says "julyzerg highest apm" and it was 818 but im not sure how long he held that. and i never said 350-400 apm average all i said if anyone will listen to me is that considering this video is titled with such a name, and it has 300, thats not very high. then i pointed out that many non pro gamers can reach that level such as luckyfool but it appears u mis read my comment.

  • oh and apms depend on the race and the opponent. usually its zerg<protoss<terran but when its zerg vs. terran, zergs have higher apm than protoss when its protoss vs. terran...(I think.... I'm terran user so dont know much about zerg and protoss)

  • zerg(lowest) terran(highest)

  • Toss requires the least apm. Terran the most, and Zerg is variable.

  • LOLOLOLOLOLOL combat-ex has like 150 apm. In replays of him playing games, he has under 100 but that's because there's time wasted when he's not doing anything while he's asking for them to let him win. (true story btw)

  • do u mean wasif1112. try looking in games that werent played 3 YEARS ago.. in his recent games his apm is ussually 300

  • you obviously don't know what 300 apm looks like. recent games he's at MAYBE up to 200. in recent replays he's at 100 though

  • tutorials dont count... i remember once in specific i watched a game with several parts of him playing and his adv loader said 298 to about 330. and i have now gotten up to about 270 but sadly my last vid was a replay. anyway will everyone stop pestering me on this video cuz im just sick of it. 300 is not insanely fast apm, end of story

  • I'm not counting tutorials. In fact, I just skimmed the tutorial vids. And do you know what combat-ex is like off youtube? The replays of him that aren't turned into fpvods all have him with under 200 apm. And the fpvods he makes are all vs D- people.

  • look, maybe not wasif1112, but he was just one example, and i dont know what ur still doing talking here, almost as if u want to fight. but i also had luckyfool and theres a few more. im not gona repeat myself again, so stop, just stop

  • I'm in his team and i from replays, his amp is NOT 300

    his toss is about 150

    terran 190

    zerg 210

  • I heard that Terran actually requires more apm than zerg, no?

  • yes it does, but zerg varies on the situation

  • stfu shitty

  • lame video

  • to expand on this even furhter, if you use the first 6 hotkeys for units, and the last 3 for comsat, you have 1 spare hotkey, 7, which I use to select the center-most production building ,so i can double tap 7, then do what you just saw there. It's not hard really.

  • He selected all six.

  • No they are not, it is to warm up their game play, like clicking the correct spot in an instant and remembering which key is what unit/building. It is all finger memory. It is impossible to get APM like the pros without your unconscious mind kicking into overdrive. Most of that click is either. Checking up on units/building to build or check health,to warm up their fingers to build up and maintain their APM. or finger memory. That is the way it is, most of the clicking they do is out of habit.

  • You guys are so proud of your StarCraft knowledge. = )

  • wtf are you talking about you should use hotkeys for both macro and micro you cant waste time and click each building to build a unit.

  • And when you have 10 hatcheries? 12 factories? It's impossible. You start off hotkeying all of your unit-producing buildings then toward the endgame you should be using most - if not all - of your hotkeys for units. Jaedong, who's the best player in the world right now, only uses 1-7 as hotkeys, and at the end of a game doesn't use any of them for macro.

The best policy is to build all of your unit producing buildings as tight as possible so you can just hotkey one of them and click the rest.

  • It's a laste of time. Rather using the camera position hotkey alt+f2-f4 for the unit production buildings and here you go. No need for 1-0 keys. Use them for micro/macro your units ;p not the buildings ;p. It's faster than on minimap or something. Maybe you forgot about alt hotkeying + F's

  • It's shift-F, and macro="buildings". I'm not really sure if you play at all but what I said is pretty standard. "Hotkey cycling" is something you have to learn how to do to move up to even C- rank on ICCUP.

In early-mid game, being able to macro as soon as you get the mins/gas is really important, so using hotkeys for bases is essential (use some for micro as well). Once the armies get big, you do have to use minimap and F keys for macro, but not until then.

  • But that is my point. In the beggining like for 10-15 minutes 1-0 hotkeys are enough for armies/buildings. After that you map/save with F's the production buildings and/or bases on screen to be faster. And maybe hotkey the position of bases if the F's are enough for faster workers escape in case of an attack.

  • You cant hot key your >30 MnM, tanks/vessels AND 6 rax, 2 starports and factory.

He is clicking through all of them with the mouse in ~a second, wasting time? no.

  • I don't think you understand the point of this video. They do this every single time, in every single game they play. They are not just showing off their macro ability. They need to do it this fast, every time. I don't expect people to hot key more than a few production buildings.

  • And what do you think the first 3-5 numbers in most rts are used for? Units. And they have more buildings than hot keys available. In wc3 you could do that. In starcraft, there's no mbs and too many buildings to do that.

  • You can hotkey in starcraft Lol. You can do it with most everything. Buildings and Units.

  • lol hockey? its hot key

  • Not really APM is it its more like Actions per 4 seconds what about the other 56 seconds?

  • Lol, we didn't even seen anything...

  • why would u make a video 4 second long u fucking retard

  • cuz its 5 seconds long :(

  • Is that your apm?

  • wtf?

  • what cunt

  • this is why oovs macro is o good.. he can do that consistenly through the whole game, making whole mandm armies in a few seconds

  • dude this guy is iloveoov he has the best macro of all the pros

  • He isn't actually good necessarily at the mechanics of macro (his APM is relatively low), he just revolutionized the macro style which allowed him to dominate for a period of time

  • a typical krn apm

  • LAME!

  • Wow that's so fast. And to think July's fastest APM is 818, I wonder what that is like.

  • thats not the eapm ... he had that for like max 5 seconds for spamming like crazy , for ex just hold the hotkey 1 for some seaconds and watch ur apm live how it goes till 1000 ... his apm is around 300 ...

  • July apm is 400-450.

  • dude i dont think any1 can go any higher then 600+ apm....unless you click on absolutely nonsence

  • ...

  • stupid

  • stupid

  • They're not dodging any lurkers. There aren't any lurkers there. At the beginning of the video, there is no evidence of lurker fire.

  • watch?v=00l7BvBApQE&feature=related you will see the lurkers

  • I don't know about you guys, but the video quality and FPS seem too shitty to make out what is happening, lol. GG

  • Thats iloveoov for ya, insanely good macro.

  • wtf?

  • Do you drive an hour to show your miles per hour?

  • you use one gallon to show miles to the gallon, or is he constantly pumping out that many guys?Cause I could pump out 12 wraiths at once if tried hard enough, but then I'd have to wait for the next twelve units to build. If he acually is pumping out 6 units per second every second for a sustainable period of time, that's insane, but remotely possible if you keep 1 enemy building alive, it would have to be a com of course. And a very large map.Plus I couldn't tell what he was doing...whats a rax?

  • He split his army away from lurker fire to not get hit, moved his vessels back, made 1 rine on 6 different rax(barracks) and looks like he tried to make another vessel.

  • Oh, now I see it!Video quality could use some improvement. And it could be slightly longer.Maybe a few seconds leading up too the lurker attack dodge?

  • No you can't. If you can, please upload a video where you pump 12 wraiths with the same speed as this guy pumped out 6 marines

  • I...don't know how to record or upload videos.Still it shouldn't be too difficult with hotkeys.I didn't see the lurker dodge at the same time though that was pretty good.

  • iloveoov is playing, if ur trying to say this is just a spike in his apm u dont know oov.

  • so how many units does he pump out on average in a minute?

  • what happend?

  • Isn't this iloveoov?

  • waits wasnt that i,loveoov vs oh shit onesec

  • Yes, actually, yes it is.

  • Why doesnt he just bind the building instead of clicking each building once?

  • most pros use all of their number keys for their troops cept if u are terran u reserve one for scan, and binds the screens (f2,f3,f4) to the production buildings. Thats y you c pros building all the rax and gateways close together.

  • could you describe it easier? I really dont understand what your're saying ~~

  • Pros bind their number keys to their troops, and instead of binding numbers to the production buildings, they bind the screen to where they built all the unit producing buildings. but binding the screen doesn't get you to que up the units so they have to click each individual buildings to produce. I dunno how to make this more clear. You can c how they manage troops by using adv loader and their replays.

  • now I get it, but what I dont know is -> where is the advantage over "normaly each building binding"? thx in advance

  • I would imagine when u r microing multiple unit types(e.g marines, medics, tanks, vessles, and firebats) in large number you would need alots of hotkeys. and it makes sense to get to the stationary buildings by screens rather than getting the mobile units with it. I am not really sure since I am nowhere close to their lvl.

  • Another way of putting it is this: What wins a game? Buildings or units? What would you rather massbind, whilst having a more effective way of reaching the latter.

  • no.. it's not a macro

it's a pimpest play by Oov

  • Sounds like a macro, I made these a few times, once with a gamepad (Belkin Nostromo n52 keypad), once with my mouse (Razr Copperhead -- it sucks IMO, and they have horrible customer support) and one other time with macro software like what you could get off of zdnet. In the end, it felt too much like cheating to use in real games, so I just used them in UMS.

  • rofl learn what they're talking about before u start acting like an idiot, Macro is the term in sc where people are pumping out units and mining and stuff
