Edge and Lance Storm were both trained by same man Stu Hart.

There are so many parallels between Edge and Lance Storm. Biggest parallel is that they both held every major title in their respective companies (Edge in WWE, Storm in WCW), with multiple being held at same time. Storm won US title, Hardcore title and Cruiserweight title in quick succession within two months of arriving to WCW from ECW. He also tried to win World Heavyweight title but he lost to Booker T

Commentators state at one point that Mike Awesome was first person from WCW to invade WWE. This isn't true. First WCW wrestler that appeared on WWE was Lance Storm, while Awesome was the first to win title when he won Hardcore Championship and became first and only wrestler in history of WWE who was kayfabe under contract with another company (in reality, whole Alliance were under WWE contracts as WCW and ECW didn't exist at that time).
