Even if you do less or slower try slowing the down phase and periodically use band two diff ways to assist past failure and second to pull your feet down unlike a kettle bell or d bell or platte the band increases resist. as you pull up from it..don't forger towel pullups.. Oversized bar pullups.. Etc
That is actually good for anyone, everyone seems to out-rep me on youtube with pull ups. The most I probably ever got in my life was 12 and that was on a good day, but what I notice is that I do it slower then everyone else on youtube. Everyone else does fast ass pull-ups, is doing them faster work the muscle in a different manner or all the same?

I can do 12 with legs crossed just like in the video but I do it slowly and I dead hang before pulling up. For me this way it is more exhausting...

You're not straightening your arms completely in the lower position, but still good work. Most girls can't even do a half rep.

You probably did legit pullups rather than cheatish forms. Most ppl on youtube cheat in one way or the other.

They don't have as much upper body strength naturally so that's something to brag about.

WOW! 18 pullups, that is almost unheard of for a girl! You are obviously in AWESOME shape, best of luck to you at contest! What contest is it?
You shoudl post a chinups clip (palms-in), I bet you'd get 20!
