Best coaster in the park. Couldn't stop laughing my ass off the whole time because it felt like I was in a bar fight. Smooth steel coasters are bland and boring.  This ride is different every time.

They have added trim brakes at the top of the first hill to slow the train down as it goes over the first hill. Makes slower but smoother in the long run.

I was just at cedar point a few weeks ago for the first time, and i was comeing off as this couldnt be that bumping, from where im come from at kings island, we have the son of beast, and the beast.. so i rode backseat on the meanstreak because it was a empty row, i was thinking hell yeah, untill i rode it.. My lower back was like FUCKKK on the whole ride.. it was worse than the son of beast!

Guys when you are riding this, ride in the very front seat! Trust me it hurts alot less in the front! Any other seat you ride on well hurt like hell.

@Nlangkirby135 i wish they got rid of it. the things they need to get rid of are; the diaster transport, the mean streak, the kiddy kingdom area (sorry, but that is stupid, if your gonna bring your kids to ride baby rides, take them to a fair or something, not cedar point), wicked twister (i understand this one breaks records, but i think its not fun), and the water rides (put them in soak city where they belong, not in a RIDE area). just what i think...

Mean Streak ain't dead, it just suffered a small fire in September, they managed to put it out before it did any real damage, they got it repaired, it's still opening this year. I agree that this ride is a bit brutal but in my opinion, that is kind of what defines a good woody. ...Heh, woody...

My cousin operates that ride and one time i went on with him and they turned the "trim" off wich means no breaks on turns. Man does it hurt but boy was it fun ran the track in half the time. Btw off topic but the races on gemini are rigged the operator chooses who will win, still fun tho. =P

Boy, I thought judging by this video that Mean Streak has the longest chain hill but I was wrong. Search Coaster Force's POV of Raging Bull in Six Flags... and that my friends has the LONGEST chain hill. It's nowhere near the tallest or fastest but seriously, it has the longest chain hill.

Uhh u rode it twice in a row. There was no line. This ride is the only wooden coaster I like. It is incredibly fun and the thing I like about it most was how long it was for a woody! Haha...woody...anyhow this ride is massive in size and is a shit ton of fun!
