critics can kiss my ass. This is a true masterpiece. I already enjoyed the movie in the theaters but I felt that more had to come because it didn´t feel like a true Oliver Stone movie. At least not before the elephant scene. Now, with the final cut I can say, yes, this is a Oliver Stone movie. And of course people who only can enjoy action movies á la Troy will have difficulties with a movie like this but a fan of Stone movies will appreciate this version even more.
but...... is the olny mouvie with alexander the great ... oliver had start the first step... i hope there will be one day the real mouvie masterpice with the macedonian king that we ho love alexander the great will all be hapy to see. this is just oliver personal alexander. not the real historical one......

beatiful film but. to much romatizezed ........and very few batels to much talwking., alexander was a man of war and action not talwk......
