Stargate SG-1 is similar to the Nickelodeon animated series Danny Phantom in the following ways:

the Stargate=the Ghost Portal

Daniel Jackson=Daniel, Jack's son

Jack=Jack

Sam=Sam

Teal'c=Tucker

Vala=Valerie

Ra=Hotep-Ra

David Kaufman, who voiced Danny Phantom, also played Mark Gilmore in the Stargate SG-1 season 8 episode "Zero Hour."

Both shows have an episode in which Earth is made intangible (Danny Phantom season 3 finale: "Phantom Planet," Stargate SG-1 season 10: "The Road Not Taken").

@Jokie155 Well, to be fair, that wasn't his normal staff weapon, that was a staff cannon that he salvaged from a Death Glider in an earlier episode. So, it was actually a weapon designed to take down big ships like that. Doesn't make it any less awesome though.

i love this theme, yet i hate stargate universe, they ruined the franchise with that like star trek with enterprise

@jwpmoyer I actually like Enterprise, and as for Universe, it started out slow and actually was decent once people get over the fact that it wasn't the same as the other two Stargate series before.

Yeah, I have not seen SGU yet... it does not seem like my thing, it doesn't look Stargatey...(does that make sense?) Whatever I cant wait for the Stargate sg1 movie and the Stargate atlantis movie to come out this year!!:)

They also cut out the motherships exploding from the season 7 intro.
