Tim Russert is a tool. Everything Ron says goes over his head because Russert's idea of journalism is reading what others have written about what Ron Paul said. Give me a break Russert! You were reading what others interpreted Ron Paul's words to mean.
Im def gonna vote for you on 2012, but the owners of this country have the voting booths rigged, remember bush vs gore? Obama and acorn ? Something is fucked up !
We all ought to vote with texting in with our cell phones (my opinion). It's harder to represent more thanone person at cheap expense, and is more convenient, and reliable than acorn. Assuming the verizon networkis not owned by the govt.
@KennyEazle You Paultards are ridiculous. Can't bear to watch your idol be submitted to some tough questioning. Just like Sarah Palin's fans. You want them to be interviewed by some softball dude whos gonna lap up every answer juts like you do.
@theZodiacDigital Okay, you're replying to a comment I made a year ago so I don't really know what to say, besides that Ron Paul isn't my idol. I like your term "Paultard" though. Did you think of that yourself? GOD, you're so original!
@theZodiacDigital Okay, you're replying to a comment I made a year ago so I don't really know what to say, besides that Ron Paul isn't my idol. I like your term "Paultard" though. Did you think of that yourself? GOD, you're so original!

@KennyEazle So what if i didn't come up with that word by myself? What, you came up with every word in your triple posted reply by yourself? Obviously not, who gives a shit? Everyone bitching and moaning cause Tim asked some REAL questions is a joke. At least other people have the excuse that Paul is their idol, what's yours? What did Tim praise Thompson for... and more importantly, who cares? He never ran for president.
If government wasn't so big, all these corporations and commercial interests wouldn't be so inclined to attempt to persuade federal government policy in the first place. This is one reason why we should cut the federal government down to a constitution size, abolish the Federal Reserve, and go on a gold standard.
Nothing will ever change unless you e-mail Obama, your Congressman, your Senator and demand these things, otherwise you have to accept blame yourself.
dude im not 35.. im 18. U.S POLICY did fuck us... not just foreign but ecomonic. if you cant see that you are a retard dude... and i think anyone who believes the U.S did the 9/11 attacks is retarded. i dont do the whole conspiracy thing.. i believe in COMMON SENSE!!!
How did the buildings fall at near freefall speed if they were designed to withstand a plane impact? I believe that common sense would tell you that our air defense system can't be compromised by passengers with boxcutters. Common sense would also tell you that Lee Hamilton and Thomas Keene's comments that the 9-11 commission was set up to fail. Common sense would also defy the magic column 79 detachment at floor 23 of building 7 and causing total collapse from office fire. Common sense? Not
Ron Paul is a lunatic. Ron Paul's supporters monopolize the internet because they never had a chance of getting more than a few hundred votes in the country.
That just shows how little you really know about Ron Paul. He's never said that the US was involved with 9/11 or the 9/11 conspiracy stuff. Typical Obamabot!
He said the US was to blame for 9/11. What other new conspiracy theories do you have? What's the Illuminati up to these days? How about the Skull and Bones? Or are you just mostly dealing with the Neo-Nazis and their ideology? That's the beauty of Ron Paul: you have a wide range of crackpot ideas to choose from.
He never said that. He said our foreign policy has caused other nations and cultures to hate the United States. What did Bin Laden say about 9/11? He stated the military bases on Saudi land, and our involvement and blatant favoritism towards Israel angers the Saudis and others of Arabic decent &/or Muslim faith. Nice spin you tried to put on that, but, wrong again Obamabot.
Oh, and I'm non of the above you listed. How about some of Obama's supporters? We'll pick this up later.
he said US policy cause 9/11. if anycountry were here walking around setting up shop here we would take to the streets waving our flags and guns in the air... hell we would bomb the shit out of them. why wouldnt they?? well they do take to the streets but they dont have any bombs or WMD's so they used planes. obama is great w/ public speaking but i doubt he can hang w/ Dr. Paul. packrat is right you are just another obamabot.
a good speech at the DNC in 2004 and he is the man to save us?? no, we need to take care of ourselves not think obama is going to save us!Ron Paul is consistant, stands by what he says and a damn fine man.
There ya go, Paul blamed the US for 9/11. You can hurl your inane insults at me, but you, as a typical Ron Paul supporter are a 35 year old conspiracy theory-believing loon who lives in his mom's basement.
Russert's treatment of Paul was niggling at times, but nothing like the slanted hatchet job some of the congressman's supporters claimed it was. I don't agree with Rep. Paul's platform, but he held up extremely well.
This kind of reporting is what makes Tim Russert such great... He would host every guest and treat them in the same manner he treated RP in this video
Man, the media sure does get vicious against Ron Paul. It doesn't matter though, there's not a whole lot that you can say bad about Ron Paul.
The only problem is that the mainstream media (and they're doing this to Edwards somewhat) is playing favorites and the American people are going along with it. Just because the media talks about something, it doesn't mean it's most important or relevant.
you know, as much as Tim seemed to be unfairly trying to pin ron paul in a corner, its great to see how well ron holds up in those situations. not only does it expose how biased the media is when it comes to fair treatment of candidates, but it can help expose some of the misconceptions and distortions that surround paul and his philosophies. now damn...id love to see Tim dig up shit like that on obama or hilary! or any of the other candidates besides paul or kucinich for that matter.
Anyone foolish enough to believe that this interview was an awesome success for Ron Paul is either deaf, stupid, naive, or all three. This was a disaster, Ron Paul's extreme views are painfully exposed. A nice guy, but a bizarre candidate...
If you actually watched these videos, and listened to him, you would of noticed that the negative comments were NOT quotes, but the Mass Media using their power to sway public opinion.
Its already a known fact now that the chances are that there will be an assasination attempt. Ron paul knows this, and has very reliable intel on the matter. Yet, he is fighting for what is right despite this. I respect this man more than words can tell.
Notice how Russert tried to trip Ron Paul up on the Sinclair Lewis quote about "Fascism will be wrapped in the flag and carrying a cross;" he claims that Lewis never said it, but Ron Paul instantly corrected him.
Meanwhile he'd talk to Hillary about the weather, and ignore cattle-futures.
tim russert wouldn't DARE treat hillary or oprahbama or judiani or mccain the way he treated the honorable DR. RON PAUL. why? because his corporate masters wouldn't allow it! russert is nothing more than a corporate lackey but he sure does resemble the original Mr. Potato Head, doesn't he?
LaRouche is the only one who has a plan to get us out of this economic crisis. Ron Paul needs to get Lyndon's "Homeowners and Bank Protection Act" passed. LaRouche represents the American System of Physical Economy.
Tim Russert represented the view of most ignorant Americans, and his questions were exactly what most unfamiliar with Ron Paul have on their minds. Mr. Russert clearly showed his ignorance even after Ron Paul made his points perfectly clear. Even an intelligent man such as Tim Russert has been programmed into thinking one way without even realizing what he was saying. That is/WAS the state of this country. Again, an exceptionally fine interview by Ron Paul.
Dr Paul has soo much knowledge ive noticed he stumbles when speaking trying to get his information out. Very passionate on his stance and never waivering. What a leader.
No, the question about running as a third party candidate is simply baiting the public to give them a feel good out. Give them a reason to be complacent about supporting Ron because he can always run as a third party candidate - how transparent.
I LOVE Ron's first answer to Russert's question about his fascist comment. "Do you mean, 'What's the definition of fascism?'" LOL - GO RON!!!
Every time I watch another Ron Paul video, it makes me realize even more how smart he is. And how well he controls his temper. If Tim Russert had been egging ME on like he is Ron, I would kick his ass.
Tim Russert is a blubbering vagina, who needs to shut his piehole. GO RON PAUL!
@UmeNNis agreed. Ron Paul is such a pro. i think he is more than qualified to be President, not only is he articulate and intelligent, but he is the only potential candidate with the right principle. Only if the rest of America would open their eyes and ears.
There were a lot of tough questions in this interview and Dr. Paul handled them with the same integrity that got all his followers to fall in love with him in the first place.
It's obvious by linking his 1988 campaign to this one that they were trying to make him look as inconsistent as possible but he did a great job explaining his positions, even though he was given about 15 seconds to reply to every question.
That instantly made me think of all the other leaders fighting for peace and unification who have been assassinated. I hate to say it but if JFK was assassinated there's no way Ron Paul would have a chance of survival.
Paul had a great message but he couldn't win the republican nomination, he scares those people to death
