  • oh, and by the way, art robinson's sons are also scientists, who both qualified for advanced placement as juniors at caltech after they 'taught themselves' at home. (or at least one of them did, check it out for yourself, don't take my word for it).

  • art robinson is right in his thoughts but he is not a politician and he let her provoke him to make an ass of himself. ron paul would NEVER have let her control him that way. thats because he's a professional politician, not a scientist. art robinson was very naive to think he was really going to have an opportunity to refute the accusations his opponent had made against him when he accepted the interview on this money-making piece of trash.

  • Of course, he wasn't invited on the show again to rebuke these comments of her's.

  • Rachel is a liar.

  • Notice how she has to do a follow up in order to tell her viewers what they REALLY saw.

  • I never said that! I never wrote that! That's taken completely out of context!

Sounds exactly like Ron Paul and his cultists.

  • The people and voters where Art Robinson lives (Cave Junction) can't stand

this man. He is disliked in his own community. Now what's that tell you?

  • Rachel maddow annoys me to no avail. She comes across with this pseudo intellectual passive-aggressive college attitude. Regardless if you agree or disagree with art robinson this was TERRIBLE journalism. If she scoffed at low level radiation being good for you but never let mr robinson educate her on hormesis. The idea behind hormesis is an acute stresser which in and of itself is harmfull causes as an adaptive response by the body and ultimately beneficial. The same is true for exercise.

  • she knows she was owned, so she has try and explain herself.

  • @firesidechet She knows she owned Robinson. That's why Cnservatives don't like being on her show.

  • Did Maddow make long rants against Obama for turning off the mechanisms on his website to prevent illegal and anonymous money flowing into his campaign?

Of course not, this small amount of money, which didn't affect the race in the slightest, was highlighted by her just so she could get her sheep to funnel money into DeFazio's campaign in far greater amounts.

She doesn't care about the issue at all. She is just trying to score cheap political points.

  • @thegoodlocust Doubt that very much! You sound like a typical Conservative nut.

  • @jrwel14 You are incapable of doubt. The ability to doubt implies the ability to think critically and look up information from unbiased sources (this is where your type will typically scream about Fox News to deflect).

Essentially, you've responded without providing any intellectual value - so why did you bother?

If you wanted to look up Obama's donation shenanigans then you could've - instead you mindlessly defended him due to your tribal mentality.

  • @thegoodlocust No such thing. Just know conservatives.

  • @jrwel14 Thanks for proving my point yet again. I suppose you've been trained to "get in the last word" since you are clearly incapable of rational discussion.

  • @thegoodlocust Thanks for proving MY point. You conservatives always have to think that YOU WON!

  • I had a feeling this guy was a Kent Hovend, a scientist by name only, Hes a plant, he got his degree for its credibility only, so that he could say, I'm a scientist, you can believe me. So he home Schools his kids just like Hovend so they can carry on the torch. Here is the thing scientists most of the time don't look for evidence to support there theories they fist look for evidence to disprove them, hes hunting for evidence for his ideas and ignoring any evidence that disprove them.

  • I figured it out: Old Art runs an institute where members of the faculty include his own sons and two dead guys. He knows nothing about what Rachel is quoting to him because the newsletters are in fact written by the two dead guys.

And to think that this man could have been a congressman.

Art's sons voted 23x on this video.

  • Looks like the guy is at least truthful when he proclaims himself as "stark raving mad"

  • Art says he'll be running again............Spare us all as he'll lose by a larger margin

besides being whacky , senile and misinformed AGE of 70+ will be a factor also.

He needs to go back to lab and be a retired scientist..............

  • why wouldn't the loser answer any questions? You fuckin' losers would be comical if there weren't so many of you

  • Maddow is missing 2 key words: "mad-made" global warming.

  • You know she really got her ass handed to her when she goes and takes 13 minutes to smear him when hes not there to defend himself.

  • I'm so happy we have Peter DeFazio!! Art Robinson is a fraud. Robinson a Scientist? No, he's an idiot! Thanks Rachel for all you do...

  • @Levy1357 How is Robinson a fraud exactly?

  • So I suppose since Rachel Madcow is so concerned about the beliefs of politicians then she will put Al Gore on her show and ask him why he idled his car for the hour he was giving a speech in Europe last week? I guess "man made global warming" is only a problem for us common folk?

  • @canebluff

Interrupt him? Did you even watch the whole 15 minute interview, he was interrupting her and avoiding her questions, he is a disgrace to the scientific community, and his beliefs on global climate change are shared by only a few thousand while MILLIONS of other accredited scientist say the exact oppose it. Rachel's interview wasn't about the issues in oregon, it was suppose to be about Art Robinson the man.

  • @gooyzit Yes I did watch the whole interview.

She never let him finish his answer on agw.

She immediately changed the subject. Go look.

"Millions" of other accredited scientists? Really?

He's a disgrace to the scientific community because

he opposes your "millions" of other scientists? Really?

  • Arty never gave a directed answer to Rachel's questions, it took him nearly five minutes just to say "I'm not worry about where the money came from" because he went on a tirad that irrevavate to the question. She changes the subject just to get him to shut up his irrevant rants that have nothing to do with the subject she was talking about. Since this idiot wasn't going to answer her questions she might as well go on to something else, and arty dosen't know shit about satellite communications

  • @gooyzit

Whatever. This is such a waste of time.

    Ask yourself this.

Do you really answer the real questions?

  • On global warming, Maddow interupts and never lets him finish the answer.

She's not interested in his answer (she's probably afraid of confronting someone with a real science background)

All Maddow did in her interview was to interupt him, throw up her arms, and make flailing gestures, and mock him.

Go Art Robinson! We need people like you in Washington.

  • What a disingenous misrepresentation of the facts by Maddow. The petition does disprove global warming (which he doesn't claim), but that it disproves the so called consensus that supporters say it has. Pointing out a lack of classrooms at OISM is ridiculous. An institute only requires labs. Institutes aren't schools. Hack job by Maddow. The interview itself was hostile and very unprofessional.

  • OISM is just like the Discovery Institute, its a Christian right organization that tries to push it's beliefs with next to no evidence for it's claims using bad pseudoscience.

The issue of the petition is really a mute point because global warming deniers don't seem to understand that there are Millions of accredited scientists around the planet that support man made global warming.

  • @finerbiner --Sorry, I forgot to comment on your offer "Just say you hate Madow and save us all some time."

I don't hate Rachel Madow. She hasn't yet earned sufficient merits to deseve a hate. I despise her. Often times she looks like an angry clown. In this specific interview, however, she looked laughable, mimicing arrogance of a person who "knows better". She did not know anything of the real science she "bravely" tried to discuss.

I have been watching such narrators on the Soviet TV, Ch 1

  • @finerbiner --I work in this area for years. Read web: you will find all these estimates of delay time. It is all well-known facts. If the receiver's equipment is not tuned up properly (which is often the case) the delay may reach 3 s.

Madow used the dirtiest methods to force the scientist to admit that he was an idiot. I saw this kind of fierce persecution in the USSR, where I lived 40 years. Robinson is a real scientist, like myself. He is anything but an idiot.

I am sending him a donation.

  • After viewing this, I am moved to donate to Art Robinson's camaign. I don't really care whether my donation is anonymous or not.

I would love to see the look on Madow's face should she discover he won.

  • @ElJefe3126 and this just confirms that Americans have lost their minds.

You can live happily knowing this man wants to dump radiation waste on your little head because it's good for you. Deal with a society that can't determine it's head from it's ass because he's against eduction, well except for HIS limited scope of 'knowledge'. Deal with no services because ALL govn't is bad. House fire maybe? AND deal with no hc, ss or roads or bridges etc. blah blah blah.

    Ah yes Robinson !!!

  • It is sad to see how illiterate Rachel Madow, and, unfortunately, many of you, folks, are. She does not know (a) what the speed of light is; (b) that radiowaves and TV signals propagate at the speed of light; (c) that the time delay caused by the round trip travel of the TV signal is dt ~ (36,000 + 36,000) / 300,000 = 0.24 sec. It is much less than 1.5 sec. Actual delay time is a bit longer, about 0.32 sec, since the TV signal also has to be processed by microchips. Robinson was right, sorry.

  • @0duvanchik1 You don't have to understand the science to know that there is a delay, and it is more than .32 sec. All you have to do is to ever have watched TV. Just say you hate Madow and save us all some time.

The fact of this interview is that Robinson showed himself to have little self control, and no ability to deal with an antagonistic interviewer. He would get nothing done in Congress.

  • @0duvanchik1 Watch the beginning of part one. You can see the time in between Rachel ending her sentence with "thank you very much for your time sir" and Robinson's response is approximately 1.8-2 seconds. This leads me to believe that the delay really is around 1.5 seconds. And if not, then Robinson takes around 1.5 seconds to RESPOND to a welcoming sentence like this. It shouldn't take someone that long to figure out what to say back...

  • Madow got pimp slapped like the chump she is! That was awesome to watch her get drilled in the by Dr. Art Robinson. Madow needed extended doses of her medication after that drubbing she took.

  • @Rustybke ah yes another robinson junky who drank the kool-aid, rec'vd no education, eats radiation for dinner and is pathetically UNAWARE of the danger this man posed to society. Vote for him, and then go back to the rock you came out from

  • @lakshmi313 Did your parents have any children that lived? You're ramblings are far to obtuse to have come from an upright standing human being, capable of rational thought! Please find a double barrel shotgun and suck start it ASAP!

  • @Rustybke ah yes, and they shall crawl out from under their rocks ~

Ouch !!! oh stop, you're hurting me. LOL Looks like that rust might have caused some brain damage though. You're words are as irrational as his, ironically.

Two peas in the same pod I see. Best of luck to you!

  • Rachel tried to smear him in the interview the night before but he didn't let her. Instead she does it when he is not there. She is nothing more than a clown with a tv show that very few people watch.

  • lakshmi313 Use some critical thinking, that is exactly the point!! DeFazio was allowed to present his point of view on the direction of the country on the Maddow show. His opponent was given an anal exam. Fair???!!!! You tell me?!

  • @lizright DeFasio has his chance as did this man. The ONLY 'facts' she or ANYONE can question on this man is his WORK. Period. BUT when she attempted to ask him about it, he lost it. ALL he had to do was say yes, no or whatever he thinks or believes . He had a stage to do just that but because he's incapable of having a rational discussion with someone whose researced HIS work, he went off. If you KNEW Maddow you'd know she is more than fair. Even if she hates you, she listen.

  • Rachel madcow is nothing more than a dumbocrat hack that doesn't care about issues, it is just about an agenda. Simple minded woman.

  • @stocks911 the woman asks about the opinions and published works of a candidate and somehow that's NOT covering the issues? his temperament alone is a reason not to vote for him. when obama was running, republicans were up in arms that he wasn't wearing an american flag pin on his lapel.

if a person thinks nuclear waste should be sprinkled over america or that aids and global warming are myths, i don't care at all about their opinions on issues such as immigration.

  • @daftnomad Ok, so lets see, will it be more likely that if he is elected he will have the chance to cure aids, or will be flying a crop duster and dropping radiation? Or is it more likely that he will have a chance to keep our country out of financial ruin, and maybe keep Obama from taking all of our freedoms? But maybe finances and freedoms aren't that important?

  • @stocks911 are you serious? you think THIS man is going to walk into Congress and get squat done? He's a joke AND he's dangerous. The ONLY reason money is supporting him is at all is because they want free reign on OR.'s forests and rivers and mines. Period. The GOP has made it clear they will eliminate ALL who get in the way of their CORP, PROFITS above all else agenda. READ for peats sake and find out what's UNDER the tarp the GOP is using to hide their REAL goal. It's not YOU or Amer.

  • @lakshmi313 It amazes me how the democrats continue to go after corporations. Do you know that more people are employed in this country by corporations than are not? Many small businesses are corporations. Do you know what the worst corporation in this country is? An out of control goverment, which spends money they don't have on "garbage" we don't want, so they can tax us more. That would be my definition of the worst corporation. And the democrats are pushing all of this garbage. Try reading.

  • @stocks911 ASSuming again eh. I'm not against corps and more than I'm a dem. Your 'perception' of our govn't is as ignorant as your rant.

Vote for this nut job, it's your future and loss not mine. I'm retired, living the good life in my big house with all the bells and whistles that my corp job provided me. YOU??? Good luck !

  • @lakshmi313 Fine your not a dem, name me your top 5 goverment programs in the last 10 years that are good? Stimulus? Nope, money paid to dead people or wasted, Obamacare? Nope, forced taxation and higher healthcare costs. Cap & Trade? This will cost americans millions and do no good. Forced unionism? Nope, how is that working for education? Postal Service? Nope, broke. Any other great goverment ideas I am missing? You sound like you have alot more confidence in goverment than I do.

  • Rachel Maddow had no interest in learning what Art Robinson thinks about current political issues, she was only interested in trying to make him look like a nut, by cherry-picking through hundreds of pages of research. A fair interview would have had Ms. Maddow present Peter DeFazio's accomplishments and view of the future and let Art Robinson defend himself on the issues.

  • @lizright Expected more? She is the pundit of all pundits, she debates Word documents for a living. MSNBC should be proud.

  • @lizright, DeFazio had his turn to do so when he was on. This was Robinsons turn. Since his only record is his work and work, she spoke to what was available from him. But when asked about his 'work' the man went off. It was mindboggling. He didn't even WANT to defend his work. She offered him a platform and he choose to rant and rage against her instead. This man may have a screw loose to be honest. It was freaky to see him attack her when she simply asked him questions.

  • @lakshmi313

What interview were you watching? She asked him questions from papers he wrote 15 years ago. Not a single question about his current political campaign. I smell smear tactics!

  • This guy is a nut!

  • So a few of us tried to bring science into the act (that is, after all, the alleged and historic purpose of APS), and collected the necessary 200+ signatures to bring to the Council a proposal for a Topical Group on Climate Science, thinking that open discussion of the scientific issues, in the best tradition of physics, would be beneficial to all, and also a contribution to the nation. - Harold Lewis

  • I might note that it was not easy to collect the signatures, since you denied us the use of the APS membership list. We conformed in every way with the requirements of the APS Constitution, and described in great detail what we had in mind—simply to bring the subject into the open. To our amazement, Constitution be damned, you declined to accept our petition, but instead used your own control of the mailing list to run a poll on the members’ interest in a TG on Climate and the Environment. - HL

  • You did ask the members if they would sign a petition to form a TG on your yet-to-be-defined subject, but provided no petition, and got lots of affirmative responses. (If you had asked about sex you would have gotten more expressions of interest.) There was of course no such petition or proposal, and you have now dropped the Environment part, so the whole matter is moot. (Any lawyer will tell you that you cannot collect signatures on a vague petition, and then fill in whatever you like.) - HL

  • The entire purpose of this exercise was to avoid your constitutional responsibility to take our petition to the Council. - Harold Lewis

Notice Harold's last remark to the APS, simply another CORRUPT organization which refuses to look at evidence contradicting accepted scientific dogma. ;)

  • art robinson's grasp of reality is tenuous at best.....just like glenn beck's grasp.

listening to art robinson prattle about global warming is comparable to listening to lindsey lohan on the topic of sobriety.

what art robinson knows about meteorology and physics could fit into the reservoir tip of a condom.

  • farmrdave--It's easy to see why you are such a big cheerleader for Robinson. You're about as whacked out as he is! And I thought California was the land of fruits and nuts.

  • greyflcn I am saying that is what is wrong with nuclear power under current regulations. It is not a choice between sfety and economy we can have both by a review of the regulations imposed by the federal Government and tossing many of those unnecessary laws out the window. The nuclear power industry has been regulated to Death. It is not possible for so many countries to safely use nuclear power and we in the United States are not leading the way to inexpensive reactors. Fire Congress.

  • Rachel is a Whore! End of story!

  • This a a damning thing for our current representative to Congress. He is guilty by association. Rachel's interview of Mr DeFazio we not composed of a mass of lies and innuendo's. This proves to me that Peter is a puppet of his powerful party in Washington. Think about it......

  • Rachel Maddow, How is your self esteem? You seem to be willing to lie about anything for money. Didn't your mother tell you to be honest and have self respect. I am trying to think of a better definition of a "whore". I suppose we could add your photograph to the Webster dictionary after the word "WHORE" and that would say it all. What a claim to fame you will have to tell your grandchildren. Butt out of our election. Vote for Art, he is the man for this job.

  • It is beyond my understanding how something like this video is allowed to go uncontested in a court of law. Free speech is a sacred right guaranteed by our constitution. However, slanderous statements like this are vary harmful not only to Art Robinson personally, they are harmful to me and to all Americans that stand to benefit from his intelligent leader from becoming elected to Congress. If I knew a way to sue her for damages I would do it.

  • @farmrdave What lies exactly??? If you call dumping nuclear waste into our oceans a good or "intelligent" thing, than it explains your blind eye to this man's noncense. Ironic he had every opportunity to explain his views and/or beliefs and yet was only able to rant instread. No loss as he words speak for themselves and nothing he can rant takes that truth away nor can deny them as being his ONLY experience and seriously lacking. Hopefully Oregon is smarter than this guy.

  • @lakshmi313 What lies. EVERY word said about Robinson's past statements are lies. Every one of them is taken out of context and misrepresented. With no exception they were all lies

  • @farmrdave Well dave I guess the proof is in the pudding. They are HIS words so that means he is what, a fraud. a liar, a phony ? Provide the proof his words were taken out of context because his saying so simply shows his lack of ability to stand behind his own work.

  • @lakshmi313 If you do not wish to take my word for it then go look it up yourself. I assure you that every time Rachel"s lips were moving she was lying during the entire sham she called a interview. For your information Art Robinson is national renown scientist and educator. He has devoted his life to things I describe as for the betterment of mankind. Ask any of his colleagues or anyone who has worked with him and they will all tell you he is a problem solver. That's what we need.

  • @farmrdave What? It IS his work I'm speaking of. It speaks loud and clear. Anyone who touts dumping nuclear waste into our oceans is no scientist worthy of the title. HIs being an educator means nothing. Like minds support him, SO??? That doesn't change the facts. He's a racist, a religious zealot and he's emotionally unstable. NO thank you !!!

  • @lakshmi313 Now we are full circle with you telling lies out of context again. Art Robinson is in the business of making things work. Like making a better life for Americans. If he thinks there is a safe way to dispose of nuclear waste wouldn't you like it to be researched? Nuclear power is the single greatest development in all of mankind's history. It has been stopped by bureaucratic red tape and environmental extremists. In France they recycle and reuse nuclear waste safely.

  • @farmrdave, Dave,i If you think for one second nuclear waste is something our oceans will welcome with open arms, well I guess you missed the whole Gulf thingy. Kill our oceans and kill mankind, but then hey, end of world is what these folks want, right !?!

You're obviously this mans advocate !!! I'm not, end of story !

  • @lakshmi313 What I think, is that Art Robinson is the most qualified candidate for representing us in the 4th district. We got here with Peter as our rep, and now it is time to change. Vote Art Robinson for Congress. We are rapidly slipping down a slope that none of us wants to go down. Keep America clean free and beautiful. Lets keep it the best place in the world to live. Stop the socialist machine that is paying for rachel maddow and all the others who wish to sell 0ut America.

  • @farmrdave The fact you think this man is the most qualified says it all. Again, lets be honest. You are supporting a blantant racial bigot, who then dares calls himself a Christian. That in itself speaks to my outrage !!! He then wants to rape our oceans, our forests and our waterways. This too speaks volumes to your mindset. As for the Maddows of the world, I'm sure she pushes your buttons. Bush sold out America, not DeFazio or anyone else. Robinson will simply push us over the cliff.

  • @lakshmi313 Rant away........There is nothing I can add to what you have said that proves my argument more than your typed words. My vote is for Art Robinson.

  • @lakshmi313 You are not speaking about his work. You are parroting what was said by rachel maddow on what Art Was told would be a interview. It was not a interview. It was her putting words into his mouth. It was her twisting the facts. I will tell you, that interview generated many donations for Arts campaign. He received about 500 e-letters of support some with donations from that interview. But my comment here is about rachel....continued.

  • Respond to this video...She is not qualified to interview a Congressional candidate.

  • @farmrdave, WHAT? Get real. You obviously know little or nothing about Maddow. Problem was for Robinson he didn't either. Apparently thought he'd be facing a bimbo. Oops. This one does her homework, knows her material prior to discussing it. Not the medium you may be used to. She asked him to validate his work, he lost it, end of story. He revealed his utter lack on so many levels it's a joke. He's obviously inept when it comes to politics, as well as many of his views. NO Thx.

  • @lakshmi313 You can tell when Rachel is lying, watch carefully it happens only when her lips are moving.

  • @farmrdave , see and this is just further proof a Stupid Pandemic has taken over America. AND why the likes of Robinson what to stop educating our youth. Keep em stupid and keep them under control. Try stepping out of narrow box that binds you. Read his book, read his work, do YOUR homework and then spew your sillyness from an informed stance rather than once of simply a blind believer !!!

  • @lakshmi313 Now you are parroting the same lies as Maddow and all members of DeFazios party. Same lies, and then call anyone who disputes your lies derogatory names.

  • @farmrdave Look let's be honest, shall we? He did not/could not/ would not support his OWN work. Wouldn't answer one question, nor attempt to reveal his premise that she took his work out of context. She gave him EVERY opportunity and he lost it! He ranted and raved what a great scientist he was but refused to answer or stand behind HIS work. P;ease. this has nothing to do with Defazio OR Rachel. Robinson couldn't negotiate his way out of paper bag, let alone negotiate in Washington.

  • @lakshmi313 Consider this. It is a high probability that if you keep doing the same thing that you receive the same results. We have had Peter DeFazio for 12 terms representing us in Congress. It is time for a change, we need different results.

  • @farmrdave, So let me understand ~ You're proposing a man whose ideas are detrimental to our existance, who is willing to destroy our oceans, stop the education of our children, put religion between us and our govenment, etc etc is the Change we should seek, NO !!! This man touts a pretty tune but you need to see behind the mask. He's an irrational, unstable, religious zealot and that's enough for me to know he's everything our founders worked AGAINST !!!

  • @lakshmi313 What I am proposing is this. Vote for Art Robinson to represent us in the 4th district. He is a man who is immensely qualified for the job. He seeks out truth and discards false "business as usual" politics. He is a powerful speaker and vary successful educator. His voice in Congressional debates would help to guide us back to the American Dream. America is a leader not a state of the european union.

  • @farmrdave American Dream? Are you serious? Our founders intentially seperated church and state. For a reason!!! So this kind of religious idiology could not ruin our nation. The American Dream was destroyed by Bush and his wars. Deal with it. But putting a man who can't even answer questions or handle an interview no matter how you 'perceived' it, says too much about the man. The LAST thing Washington needs right now is an irrational loose cannon. Like him or not, DeFazio is rational !!!

  • Rachel Madow is nothing but an empty headed, propagandizing WHORE! The only reason she is talking about her previous interview is to save face! She is on damage control now. WHORE!

  • @mrstevenblake

Typical ad hominen argument, spewing ignorant attacks rather than addressing the issues. Factor in Robinson wanting to abolish education in America and one can see the logic at least on his part. He became flustered only in haivng to explain HIS beliefs, his written work. He lost it, because it was impossilbe to Rationalize his own words and realizing she had read them in the first place. Oops. I would never want him making decisions for my childrens future.

  • It is of course, the global warming scam, with the (literally) trillions of dollars driving it, that has corrupted so many scientists, and has carried APS before it like a rogue wave. It is the greatest and most successful pseudoscientific fraud I have seen in my long life as a physicist. Anyone who has the faintest doubt that this is so should force himself to read the ClimateGate documents, which lay it bare. - Harold Lewis Professor of Physics UCSB resignation letter to head of APS ;)

  • @tpreitzel It really bugs me when someone post something like this. That (insert scientific backed fact) is a scam based on some on a half baked conspiracy theory and actual facts taken out of context and twisted to "prove" what they say is true. Look up "ClimateGate debunked" if you want to see why you're silly.

  • @Treniths

Frankly, I don't think too many readers really care if Harold Lewis' remarks "bug" you. LOL. In case you missed professor Lewis' credentials, he is Emeritus Professor of Physics at the University of Santa Barbara. Lastly, professor Lewis' isn't alone within the scientific community in his blatant objections to the fraud of man-made global warming.

  • @tpreitzel

i.e. Harold Lewis is Emeritus Professor of Physics at the University of California at Santa Barbara...

  • @tpreitzel So his credentials as a Professor of Physics trumps those of all the scientist working on Global Warming issues? That's also ignoring the fact that his "proof" is based leaked documents which he not only took out of context, but completely misunderstood, which you would understand if you looked up the full story behind ClimateGate.

  • @Treniths

LOL ... Raise your objections with professor Lewis and publish his reply here so I can verify his alleged reply to you. His informed response ought to be amusing to say the least. Hint: You'll lose... ;)

  • @tpreitzel Oh well that's a good argument! Instead of actually looking up to see why Climate Gate is flawed (which is described in detail in several different articles which are extremely easy to find), I should go ahead an speak directly with a conspiracy theorist as if he would bring up different points then the ones he has already gone over.

Saying "Hint: You'll lose... ;)" over an issue you know very little about being present by a man you never met makes you an internet faggot.

  • @Treniths

LOL ... Before you spout nonsense and look even more ridiculous, you might want to spend a few moments searching about Harold Lewis' credentials as a physicist.. Again, I repeat that professor Lewis is NOT alone in his legitimate condemnation of the fraud known as anthropogenic global warming. ;)

  • @tpreitzel So Harold Lewis's credentials makes his word (which has been debunked in detail) greater than that of all the scientist actually involved in Global Warming research? And that saying that somehow doesn't make you an internet faggot?

  • Hitting her head against the desk was juvenile. I thought her rep is that she's above that.

  • @SmelOdies Nah, she's always been like that. She lets a lot of her own personality in her show and interviews. Considering how frustrating that interview was, I think it was a pretty appropriate response.

  • I wish I could vote for Mr Robinson!

  • Dear god this guy is as bad as Kent Hovind when it comes to lying about his scientific background.

  • he's such a good scientist he has zombies working for him, also it does have a student body, but they are all from a different dimension, or ghosts. you never hear about that on liberal lamestream media.

  • MSNBC should just kill her show, she makes progressives look like idiots.

  • @fmckadoo No, she makes people like that freak she interviewed look like idiots.

  • @BadLuck765 Really, you think that? Did you see the first interview? The one where she actuallt debated someone?

  • @fmckadoo I don't know, whether you agree with her or not (I assume you're conservative), she usually makes very good points during her debates and interviews. There are plenty of lefty idiots. There are plenty of intelligent conservatives. When she brings someone on her program who's full of it (Rand Paul, for example) she's awesome at tearing them apart. Art Robinson came off the loser in this one. Big time.

  • @BadLuck765 I'm pretty much down the middle, I find Maddow a complete fool, she debates sound bites for a living. I put her, Hannity, Limbaugh, and everything after 6:00 on MSNBC and FOX to be offensive. There is a debate to be had, the debate is not what these people have framed it to be. The far Right and Left have the conversation, the middle needs to take it back!

  • @fmckadoo Man, comparing Maddow to Hannity or Limbaugh... ugh, I couldn't disagree more. Maddow may have flaws (I think she hams things up sometimes and I hate that, for example) but as far as searching for and revealing actual truth, Maddow is one of the best on television. Imperfect, yes. Limbaugh? Not even close...

  • @BadLuck765 She is a pure pundit, if you want to drink the kool-aid feel free to do so.Might try watching CSPAN 1,2, or3, Reading the NY Times, Wall Street Journal, or whatever, get informed. Beliefs are beliefs, just make sure you are informed.

  • @fmckadoo I like how you assume that because I like Rachel that I don't watch or read any of those things.

  • @BadLuck765 Don't assume anything, just hope everyone does, a better educated population makes better choices.

  • Maddow must of gotten her bare butt spanked red for lying if she had to take devote another segment to try to discredit this guy. The truth hurts sometimes and it is embarrassing when the magicians illusions have been exposed. Bravo for the truth!

  • He didn't claim that global warming is false, but claimed that there is no proof that global warming is man made. Rachel would rather bang her head and smirk than to let Dr. Robinson explain this. Secondly, his children listed as faculty members are gown adults with science PhD's. She makes it seem as if they're still in their diapers. Finally, the 2 dead professors are listed as previous notable researchers and are aknowledged as dead. Similar listings can be found on other college websites.

  • This is SO obviously a smear attempt by Maddow. Listen to the entire interview. He was the only honest person there. I'm proud of him for exposing her for what she really is. The fact that his sons are related and proud to work with him does not automatically deem Robinson or his sons unintelligent or disable their ability to think for themselves. On the contrary, Maddow is trying to do our thinking for us about Robinson. She lied... his comment about abolishing public schools was a joke.

  • Rachel Maddow was attempting to smear Robinson. He was the only honest person on camera during the interview. He homeschooled his sons, and the fact that they are related does not negate the fact that these men are capable of intelligent scientific research.

  • Rachel Maddow was attempting to smear Robinson. He was the only honest person on camera during the interview.

  • Wow. Rachel Maddow has devoted a tremendous amount of air time on Art Robinson. DeFazio must be very nervous! He has taken polls, but he is not sharing them. This helps us understand why.

  • I love Rachel Maddow. She's so on the ball and her soundness is often enough to show some of her guests to be the crackpots they are. Fuck Art Robinson and his anti-evolution bullshit.

  • Art Robinson revealed her for what she is, and all of her cheap shots and fake laughter fall well short of disguising that!

  • so she interrupts the man constantly during the interview in which he absolutely destroys her, then smears him the next night when he isn't on to defend himself. great going, maddow. who is your horse in this race, may I ask?

  • I saw this guy's interview; it was punishing to watch. His mouth is our best friend; the more he talks, the more only teabaggers with 3 legged dogs will vote for him....

  • Maddow is such a joke. I think Art Robinson is probably just another typical no nothing politician but whenever Olbermann or Maddow have a democrat on the show they ask them the easiest questions whilst agreeing and also giving them a nice handjob. American journalism is just sad it's either Fox nonsense or MSNBC suck a liberal's dick day. how bout some professional interviews like the BBC? The only tru conservative Ive seen her be fair to is Ron Paul (who would tear her apart in a real debate).

  • What journalist??

  • Go Rachel!

  • This guy has views so far out on the fringe that he is unfit for any public office in which science, education, taxation, or a multicultural society must be considered. Peter DeFazio has been doing a great job in the Oregon 4th District for decades. He's his own man. All this bullshit about him being in Pelosi's pocket (although I hate it as a perjorative-since she's also an honorable and able public servant) is crap. I've disagreed with DeFazio, but he'll always explain his positions.

  • While typing I turned the sound down, Rachel is really cute when you don't hear her talking. She's a beautiful girl, Ok she's a political hack.

  • @chewbaca1989

It's always interesting to me to find someone who denies that ocean and air temps are climbing steadily. Or to find someone who denies the growing acidification of our oceans. The entire scientific world takes these things as given, but some people driven by profit or politics and their gullible followers declare that it is an evil plot by hundreds of thousands of scientists. I hate stupid people.

  • @chewbaca1989

Let me amend my last line from that post: I hate willfully stupid people; those who don't bother to think through the logic themselves but follow the bidding of shits like Beck, Hannity or Robinson who are either insane or making themselves wildly rich on your ignorance.

  • @dtorfleming

You elitist douche bag, I don't watch, read, or listen to any of the folks you listed. Surprise! I will say you are willfully ignorant sob, I'd wager you don't even look into what opponents say about opposing Global Warming except to dismiss them out of hand. Of course your mind is made up and you defend your position like a religious zealot. You are making people wildly rich because you think you are righteous and good. You are parrot. Hanity and Beck, Rofl, fucking parrot.

  • @chewbaca1989

    Clever response.

The difference between us is that I'm educated and surrounded by scientists; family, friends and work. I live within a community that doesn't believe anything they hear until it is scientifically proven. Tell one of my friend that water is wet and you'll have a 3 hour arguement. Tell them that climate change is a hoax and they won't laugh at you, they'll ignore you because you're too stupid to talk to.

Go preach your conspiracy theories to Beck fans

  • @chewbaca1989

And seriously, how could I not be an elitist when stacked next to you?

  • @dtorfleming - And seriously, how could I not be an elitist when stacked next to you?

ROFL, and I actually got a little mad. I'm a free man, I'm not going down your path, millions upon millions won't.

  • Rachel/MSNBC is sooo irrelevantly transparent in their liberal leanings they cannot bear someone not just folding up when they are obnoxiusly annoying in their questioning when it is turned back onto them and their victim calls them out on their BS. Then, they rationalize their weak performance by themselves with twisted logic. It's so pathetic that anyone would give MSNBC any credence to be beyond description. Honest people don't have a chance when they don't control most of the (liberal)media.

  • @popeyepearlharbor

Yes, Maddow is so transparent in her attempt to ask an insane candidate where he is getting his donations. Which he refuses to answer. How dare her ask him questions! What kind of a journalist asks questions?

  • Art is just an old wacky nut who is not a true Oregonian.

I just would like to hear why he keeps his wife in a freezer on his

Southern Oregon Ranch. A ranch that is partly tax-exempt and in a county that

is the largest weed producing in Oregon. Is he stealing his neighbors buds?

He needs to pack it up and move back to California by the Salton Sea.............

  • @sfaster Don't send him to California! We have enough of our own crazy people. We don't want him.

  • It's not Art Robinson that worries me, it's those people that actually voted for him in the primaries.

  • @HAZIDEAD Yep, that's the part that's scary. There are raving lunatics everywhere; it's only when you make the raving lunatic your leader that he becomes truly dangerous.

  • You can tell she was worried about being owned as she had to do this follow up to "straighten things out".

  • Finally- someone who calls out Madcow for what she is- a democratic schill engaging in pure smear. She has seldom been exposed for her real agenda point by point as this guy did! This is wonderful!

  • Hard to tell who's who at the start of this- I believe that's Maddow on the left, correct me if I'm wrong.

  • And this guy claimed that he wasnt running a smear campaign against Art Robinson... LIE, Big Surprise..................... Did she really have to make a 12+min smear campaign against AR without him even being there to defend himself? YES....Why?? Because he completely owned the shit out of her when he was face to face w/her. She knows the same thing would have happened if he were there again so she spews her bullshit lies when its just her.

  • @dudeman1109

Was there anything she lied about?

  • @greyflcn I didn't hear any lies. I think Mr. Robinson just couldn't handle the analytical-type questioning Rachel uses (simple as it was in this interview). When she linked two thoughts together, he saw that as trying to confuse the question. The way he presented himself, it doesn't seem like he would be a good scientist or a good Congressman.

  • Does the Media have any credibility left? No, the man is a scientist that proposes new ideas and hypothesis, that's what scientists do.

Global warming is a scam and I think most Americans can see this now.

  • @chewbaca1989

    Robinson is a medical biologist.

And he's someone who posted FAKED information, intentionally impersonating the National Academy of Sciences.

But then again, I guess from your view, expertise and facts don't matter on determining your personal reality, huh?

Could be some 3 year old making crayon drawings for all you care, right?

  • @greyflcn

Oh, he's a medical biologist. Ok,, so what does that mean exactly? FAKED info, Ok, lets apply your criteria to the IPCC, and these folks are not three year old kids with crayons.

I FIRMLY BELIEVED IN CLIMATE CHANGE, ok? I read up on it in National Geographic, tons of publications and newspapers. It made sense to me that man was ruining the planet.

  • @chewbaca1989

==Ok, lets apply your criteria to the IPCC==

    Sure thing.

    watch?v=Y2u4zNGtnY8

  • @greyflcn

I've watched all his videos, very persuasive guy. I like how he illustrates what choices we have and make now, and what possible outcomes in our global destiny. Believe it or not I have looked at the issue from both sides. I'd share the 20 satelite study that disproves global warming hypothesis but I know it will do no good.

I'd like to share what started me questioning my belief in Global Warming.

    /watch?v=ubng2Pnhd_I

  • @greyflcn

Well I'd certainly wonder what sort of satellite studies you're talking about.

Since all the satellite records I'm familiar with pretty all much agree, after one satellite record corrected it's mathematical errors.

So I really wonder what your "20 satellite studies" are.

    _

Also what does a political debate have to do with Physics?

  • @greyflcn

Grey, so a lot of the data and predictions are faulty. The study I am referring to might be to simple to be true. As the earth heated it's temperature it radiated a proportionate amount out. Headline: Carbon Dioxide irrelevant in climate debate says MIT Scientist.

All of this alarm, the call to action, to this problem seems to have solutions and that is a global one. A international cooperation to stem emissions and regulate them.

  • @chewbaca1989

No actually that's the point of this link.

The amount of radiation leaving has decreased.

The amount of radiation coming in has decreased.

But the amount of radiation heading back to the surface has Increased, almost entirely in the infrared wavelength you'd expect CO2 and CH4 to block.

    Along with the temperature increasing.

  • @chewbaca1989

Also if you're going to quote Lindzen. Even Lindzen admits his 2001 study was wrong. Since it was based on that mathematically faulty satellite data I referenced earlier.

    Google: "seed lindzen contrarian"

And even other skeptics admit his 2009 paper is faulty, because it's comparing apples and oranges, and then acting all surprised that they don't match up.

Google: "Some Comments on the Lindzen and Choi"

    Google: "Lindzen and Choi james"

    What else ya got?

  • Notice the tactics, i.e. issue of race, used by Maddow with Art Robinson and Rand Paul are similar to the tactics used by Lawrence O'Donnell with Ron Paul, i.e. the issue of race. Apparently, MSNBC has decided to adopt the issue of race to attack the tea party. Unfortunately, for MSNBC, this tactic will continue backfiring badly as the tea party's composition consists of ALL races which are furious at the federal government. Notice the rapid increase of donations to Art's campaign! $70k+ so far
