@bmeyer44 No, the Flip doesn't do that to the voice. It has very clear S's. Your current camera has poor frequency response. That's why it sounds like that.
Yum, I'll be right over!!! Yep, I sure do like Paula, she's a good ole' gal. I've never done cabbage like that with milk and sugar, will have to try it. When we do cabbage, it's usually Bubble & Squeek, you do it that way?... potatoes & cabbage fried til it gets brown goodness all through? Oh, little tip, if you put a folded dish towel under your cutting board it won't slip around. Good eatin'!!
@steeljan my cutting board was slipping around? ah hell I never even noticed...I was too busy trying to whack that damn thing in half!!! It was hell but I got it done, but he gave up a good fight....now I have to go look at it again...LOL.
Never tried the bubble & squeek...is that a southern thing?
@bmeyer44 I spelled it wrong, it's Bubble and Squeak, it's a british dish. I saw it first on the Two Fat Ladies show. You can make it fresh with cut up potatoes and cabbage or you can make it with leftover veggies, mashed potatoes as a base with whatever veggies are leftover in the frig. Two Fat Ladies said to make it with lard, but I always use butter or margarine. Keep pressing it down, frying it in the pan, get crispy, break it up, press & fry more, etc. Delish!
@steeljan I love fried cabbage. If you like spicy food, you can add some curry powder when you add the milk, as much as you want. It will clear your sinuses. I actually have Bubble and Squeak in my list of Craig's Kitchen videos to do. I like to add some English Banger sausages to it. It's a real treat!
@CraigTube Curry powder, now you're talkin'! I've been known to put curry powder in almost anything, really nice stuff. Wonder what it would taste like in a beer? :-) B & S with sausages, yep, but not sure what English Banger sausages are. I've also let eggs fry on top of it for this to be a breakfast dish, great for when there's massive yard work to do that day, sticks to your ribs.
Oh my! That's one helluva a big knife!!! :)

Looks real good from here. I'm going to have to try that recipe. Thanks for your great videos. Keep them coming. When is your next brew video?
