1:15 I had to watch it again. I thought maybe he saw something that disturbed him to the core, like the broken box, and then had to stop to collect himself before his head exploded. Seems he simply bumped the camera and forgot to edit out the redeposition of the shot.

The fact that this was done in such a casual, indie style of filming, the intro is really jarring from the professionalism it sets up which never reaches fruition. It really isn't impressive and it makes the review kind of ridiculous.

@seamoretwillnant HAving become very cynical towards mass media concentration, so I appreciate this indie style, makes it look less like a commercial trying to sell this to me, and more of a genuine review

@dragondisaster But the intro immediately gives a very commercial kind of feeling to the whole show, and the fact that it isn't makes it jarring to the perception of the concept. A little more indie flavor to the intro would solve this, no bland, uninterested announcer saying overused phrases like starting the review with "And now".

Hate this game though, sold it after a few tries.. Wooden cubes removes ALL the theme for me. attacks with trolls, orcs and other stuff feels like "ok I'll move 3 green and a red one". Sucks bigtime!

I actually got my copy from Essen, soundtrack included (1 track) hehe..

Haven't been able to play it yet though, but I'm looking forward to it... well atleast once my opponent has understood the rules.

The mechanics in this game are not complex. They usually make a lot of sense, but it's the sheer number of options and stats that make this game complex!

So they didnt spoiled the name, which Stronghold CG has earned :)) Though, gameplay is different of course.

What about the 4 players game? Everyone's controlling their flanks? Imagine this like Memoir Overlord game :)) With all those talks "Hey! What are you doing?! You should go there!" :)))

With 3 players, 2 of them play as invaders with one flank each. 4 player games allows for 2 on each side. The challenge now is that the defenders get different hourglasses to spend. If defender one begins to produce a cannon for an example, the other defender is not able to contribute or build his own cannon untill the cannon has been completed.
