Lucifer, who is Satan, who is the supposed "Sinner" = Homosexual among other "wrong sinful doings" (like killer, adulterer, pervert, thief, deceiver etc etc).

Hence why the "bad guy" in films is sometimes portrayed as being camp / gay, alongside genuine bad traits because the good and proper Christian thinks that way.

Of course being gay has nothing to do with being a bad person, but there you have it.

Simba is a beast, the way he protected Nala from the hyena in the elephant graveyard going head to head and scratching one of them. BTW, Scar was a terrible king. He didn't look for the well being of the rest of the kingdom which is why there was no food and stuff. Scar is a backstabbing jerk. Simba put him in his place and when he was a cub, he was even more badass, standing up to the hyenas.

But I'm pretty sure that when they set about creating Scar, he was meant to be this dark and evil character, and seeing as It's a family movie families generally include children) younger kids have a harder time identifying who is bad and who is good, the characters, they sometimes need an identifiable mark or clue that they are "baddies"

I love Scar and everything, but... I don't understand. Being the King's brother, he can do whatever the Hell he wants. He could even, if he were persuasive enough, get Mufasa, and especially Simba, to unknowingly do his bidding. And he would not be blamed if something went awry. Imagine Scar as a military leader FOR Mufasa or Simba... an army of hyenas is sure to make any rival pride reconsider. But oh well. At least we got one of the best Disney Villains. :)
