Probably because the clutch would be toast in no time,  look at most of the really high power cars in Europe...Most are auto, and if you have a manual Ferrari and use the launch control, the clutch is dead after 5 launches.

I think the Jeep would probably be slower as like most - high power manuals, because most drivers cannot change as fast as a decent auto. (just my pennys worth)

The interior and features are excellent features but the out of place front end and plain boring rear end are a definite turn off.....Not to mention it's performance isn't improved and it's not drag and heavy performance mod friendly...

I WOULD buy the new 2012 300 SRT8!!! that thing is insanely nice and has the 8" touch screen full control system....which the jeep doesn't....it's exterior is A+

But in reality I'll be getting a new Ram megacab 2500 to tow my Jeep
