  • Thank you for this video, it was exactly what I was looking for. My belt was worn, but also the small pulley area that the belt goes around was broke. Can you tell me what the small pulley is and if their is a part for this? I assume this is the motor pulley, but I dont need the whole moter, just the peice that attaches to it. The V part that the belt goes into.

  • was there a buzzing noise when you had the top on for it to run? if not do you know what would make a buzzing noise when its running with no spin or agitation

  • I have the same washing machine with the same problem. I couldn't get the front off either but I could the bottom just as you did. I was really hoping to see the belt off when I took the bottom off. But no it's still there. There is a wiring schematic inside the top part of the washer. Tomorrow I will go over that and see if I can find why the motor doesn't work. If not I will buy a new one.

We have a friend that does a lot of washing for her work. She says just buy the cheapest. That's best.

  • Sweet..hope this is our issue.

  • Thank you nice video.

  • it's not clear whether you mean it didn't agitate either? just spin or both?

  • @thecrystalkid It only didn't spin. It agitated still.

  • @roadragecustoms i have that same problem now, did you go 2 a sears 2 get the belt?

  • @roadragecustoms

It seems you like to tinker at your washing machine.

Why you don't take up the belt slack?

I guess your next belt change will be soon.

  • genius! in a throw away world where people think its acceptable to replace something rather than try to fix it, its good to see there are true soldiers who are prepared to actually investigate and diagnose instead of just wasting shit and making some pikey scrappo a few quid. my hat goes off to you sir....

  • who needs audio when action speaks louder than sound.? Great video, simple, to the point is what most people need and look for. thanks!!!

  • Why didn't you just remove the front panel? keep it upright

  • @TheTangent72 I have heard many times that that is the right way to do this, but I wasn't able to get it off. I tried a few times after the video was uploaded & couldn't do it. This is why I usually stick with auto repair & not appliances.

  • Hey that worked perfect for me! Thanks for letting me be a man and fix it myself. lol.

  • my washing machine is not allowing the water in at the top to wash soap powder in to carry out the second wash, then it flashes and let the water ou!

  • @724375939

no hay forma más fácil de quitar la tapa usted tiene que quitar la tapa aflojando los tornillos. continuación, que acaba de tomar y el seguimiento del vídeo. es fácil. He arreglado mi máquina utilizando el video :)

  • @gnjn004fam Muy bien, gracias.

  • Where is the sound?

  • @SteadiStick When I made the video, my kids were being noisy. I had originally replaced the audio with music. I didn't own the copyright to the music, so YT didn't like it. I re-uploaded it with no audio.

  • i hope this works ...i have this problem and the when the water starts to pour it doesnt even stop .. it overflowed ,,i bought it from someone who said it was in good condition but i have all these problems.. thanx for the video

  • Charlie Chaplin would understand this video perfectly!

  • Thanks for the video, but since I read that you know more about cars... my car has a check engine light and I tried messing with the gas tank cap and taking a couple short trips, and still the light is on what should I do??? If you wouldnt mind answering.

  • @jenniferillmatic There are hundreds of problems that will cause a check engine light. The first step is to have the vehicle's computer scanned with a code reader or scanner. Some auto parts stores will do this for free, or let you borrow their code reader & scan it yourself. Let me know what the code is, + year, make, & model. I'll see what I can do.

  • Anyone else hearing complete silence from this video? Seems the audio track is missing. (ALL other sounds on my PC work including other YouTube videos)

  • @MarkLipka When I made the video, my kids were being noisy. I had originally replaced the audio with music. I didn't own the copyright to the music, so YT didn't like it. I re-uploaded it with no audio.

  • @keysofluvher1 I really don't do much appliance repair. I'm more of a car guy. This was just an easy fix for an obvious problem. I don't think I can help. Sorry & good luck.

  • excellent advice got it fixed myself in 5 mins I can cancel the repair guy tommorow thanks mate

  • how old is it ?t

  • thanks for your help,God bless

  • Thanks so much this helped me to fix my own machine and wouldn't have attempted it before seeing your video.

  • thanks for making this you are so kind appreciate!!!

  • Glad I watched this .. was on the verge of buying a new machine because calling out a repair man was going to cost like $200. But I'm sure this is all that is wrong with it.

  • man I wish mine was that easy. There's no belts in mine, had to have a repair guy come and he had to replace like the entire assembly

  • Easy and straightforward. I did one without a belt a few months ago and wish I had it on video. It took about on hour because the cabinet had to come off to access the motor and replace the little plastic coupling between that and the transmission. Belts are better.
