You see, when you fight giygas he is an unborn blob. The giygas you hear about is a power mad being similiar to geigue, but here he is as a baby.

Yes, he considered ness his friend. He didnt inderstand why he attacked, so the little logic he knew was "attack back"

If pokey didnt "imprison" giygas, he would be fucking the cave of the past up. The devils machine is suppoused to hold his power.

To Pcfan11: Giygas IS Giegue. It's just for the fact that the name of Giegue didn't sound scary enough, so NOA decided to change it. Since the actual translation comes from the Japanese Gygig.

My theorie is that Guigue and Giygas have been confirmed the same person, So the Ness face ws probably Giygas mistaking him for Ninten.

Giygas gave porky the Powers, Porky says, "he cannot die... he can only be killed."

And that would be refering to both of them.

Ness couldn't do a damn diddle thing to Giygas, till porky messed with the one thing that was keeping him Stable.

Ness's face in the Devil's Machine is the Apple of Enlightenment. It looks like Ness because it shows a hero who would defeat Giygas which many NPCs talk about (Like Pokey says that 'The Apple of Enlightenment has already made a prediction').

It probably wasn't in the American version of EarthBound because it made more sense in Japanese.
