What is all this bullshit about "3D"? 3d is stupid. It never worked in the 80's and it doesnt work now. You wanna know how to see 3d? OPEN YOUR EYES.
Im not really sure about this industry. All these products are just worthless toys for adults it seems. Im not sure they are actually brainstorming anbout productivity. I think the whole industry is just based on money.
I didn't like 3D at first til I tried it some of it seems like a gimmick , some of it seem really outstanding but there's no where else for the industry to go with TV's but 3D. Upping the Res. isn't just going to Push TV to new limits at all so 3D is here to stay. I'm going to get one but Less then 50% of households even have HD yet. its something that may not catch on that fast. but its here to stay.
@Neoand12 i was thinking almost the exact same thing the other day. I like the idea of having 3d tvs but im sure im not going to like the price. I'm not that interested in 3d so im not going to rush out and get one. it would be cool to watch a 3d movie at home every now and then with my son.
They can upgrade TV's by having wifi conections built in.that way we can stream or download internet movies easier. it would be fun to browse the internet on my TV without having to buy extra equipment
i like your idea of wifi in tv's, i was thinking about the very same thing the other day. fact of the matter is, let people catch up with hd, and then worry about 3d. dont get me wrong, 3d is awesome, and i love 3d movies, but in the living room, that can get pretty boring. if they can combine wifi with hdtv's, then maybe we can get our digital downloads in 1080p, and not have to go out and buy a blur-ray, almost like paying to download a blu-ray disk without leaving your couch.
i get what you are saying but there is nothing wrong with pushing out 3d tvs right now as long as they make them optional. They can create a whole other line of TVs that offer 3d they'll prolly be more expensive but let the consumer make the decision. I wouldn't want one myself but its nice to have that option. Remember about 3-5 years ago the people and the industry wasn't ready for HD TV's either. there were all these high quality tvs but not many HD channels or devices wit full 1080P pic
