@DDslinky Some do, some don't. Adam and Joe discussed it once on their radio show. Joe is the less gregarious of the two, but he always puts kisses and hugs 'o' at the end of texts and emails. Apparently it was something to do with the era he started texting in (or maybe that his first texts were to girls ^^).

I don't put kisses on many things anymore, but I used to. Most guys I know don't even use smilies with other men, though... keep it for the chicks they're wooing :p

@sphoney I think it's kind of sweet. But I always thought guys would shy away from the kisses thing lest someone think they fancied blokes or something - not that there's anything wrong with that. I like it when guys send kisses, I don't necessarily think they fancy me, more that they're being playful and that's always fun!

Is this a british thing? I don't know anyone here stateside who puts "xo" in their texts unless they're purposefully trying to be really flirty or its in their phone signature. Me and my friends usually end phone conversations with some variation of "Love you" or something like that.

@AutumnDevi :/ i guess so, i mean most people i know leave xx or xo on all their messages, less often for same sex though... the thing is the number of kisses, one is just polite, two is normal for boys and girls, three means you're either really good friends or it's a bit flirtatious, if u get more than three then they're probably stalking you xxxx
