This is the first time I've noticed that the ref starts the clock with his arm but doesn't blow the whistle to put the ball in play until about a second later. Well, that really sucks.

It seems as though Wilson was waiting for the whistle, but the ref had made one revolution of his arm, which started the clock before he actually blew the whilstle. It would have been a miracle anyway, but I think they need to make sure that they blow the whistle and make the arm signal simultaneously. Wilson can't be looking behind him and needs to reply on the whistle. It was a good game regardless.

if only Wilson and Badgers practice a fake spike play for situations like this like Riley Nelson and BYU did against Tulsa, this game could've went to overtime or have a different result. good game though.

@310Sole it would have been highly unlikely that Wisconsin would have made it in...but hey, you Badger fans know a thing or two about the impossible happening. who knows. Wisconsin proved to be a damn good team and we should have nothing but respect. i hope to see you guys again next year! possibly an NC? i don't know about Wisconsin much...but Oregon only loses about 10-12 seniors. could be good things in these program's futures!
