@21RNE dude the htc hero doesnt compare to the evo or the touch pro 2 so forget the hero then the touch pro 2 awesome but the evo is 4g (faster) bigger screen but the touch pro 2 has higher revolution and if you want a full qwerty get the touch pro 2 or wait for the new htc phone for sprint comin in 2011

@shadowddr Do you mean the one straight from HTC or the other TP2's from other carriers? If straight from HTC, the difference its the fact that the HTC version has a front facing camera, silver back and keyboard and plain black Touch Flo 3D UI and doesn't come with bloatware from Sprint, AT&T, Verizon ect. that slows the phone down (along with other subtle changes / limitations.) and the ones from other carriers have slightly diff button placements (and case colors) basically.

Ok, So i have been noticing that most of the phones are not Female/ Nail friendly.. I have the samsung Mythic that works very well with my Fake nails.. What phone from Sprint would you suggest that would work that is nail sensitive for the touch screen. I hate sliding keypads.. Im a Major Touch screen girl.. and most carriers have heat sensitive.. not nail friendly phones? Anyway thanks for your help.

@Gfresh1620 I've have the Touch Pro 1 also, and have had it replaced 4 times. Today, after complaining to them regularly, they finally offered to upgrade me to a Touch Pro 2 for free. Hopefully the TP2 isn't the piece of shit that the TP1 is.

This phone was primarily made as a buisness phone, it's very powerful and it has a lot of things going for it. This isn't really meant for younger consumers, therefore it doesn't have all of the social networking stuff the other phones have like a lot of the Andriod phones have. If you want something for the kids, get the Driod, I believe it's a little more powerful and more kid friendly.

Still $349 from sprint with new contract. Not worth it for this phone. Its been out for 6 months and sprint is the only one who hasnt dropped its price. It's a bug that started 1/1/10 with HTC (not MS). A fix should be out soon. People have made workarounds as well if you google it.

I'm guessing you'll have to download it. Just google "2016 htc fix" and download the cab file from PPC Geeks. restart your phone and any new texts will go back to normal. They show up normally when you go to "all messages" in the winmo interface.
