Great video. I made a set of mini LED's using my ghetto veritcal lathe (aka drill press), but mine were made from black PVC pipe fittings. Maybe one day I'll get a real lathe and can upgrade to something other than plastic. LOL.
What was the piece between the plastic lens and the circlip? Stainless screen or multi-faceted plastic sheeting? You should have thrown in a pic of it lit up.
Maybe next year I'll get a lathe for x-mas... this is great stuff... I tried a few of your techniques on gas tanks for a Yamaha tank I'm using for a trike... I'm enjoying learning as I go...
