What is more important though in the stadiums history is that On April 8, 1974, Hank Aaron became baseball's all-time career home run leader by hitting his 715th home run off the Los Angeles Dodgers' Al Downing at this stadium to become the all time drug free home run leader and second all time leader if you include drug users.
