My twin-engine yami jet is old school (LS2000 - had the Exciter b4); although I think what you've shown here is "cheating," when it comes to docking, I haven't figured out a better way to dock with jets bc reverse never sucks you to the dock like other boats, rather, it pulls you back in a semi-circle. If I have the room, I always come in bow first and spin it completely around;) Traditional boaters have no idea how difficult it is to dock a jet boat!
Both engines in reverse, idle only and the steering wheel is turned in the direction of the dock. See also the video on Jet Boat Recovery and it explains more of the technique.

Did you put both engines in reverse or just one? What position was the steering wheel?
