Blarg was origonated in intended use in the beta version and posibly the new version, but got deleated from gameplay. HOWEVER, he is in the game, but not in any levels. he is still stored in game data, but not in gameplay and had uncompleated textures. therefor the blarrg in super mario 64 rumer is in fact real.

Kinda late response(Veery late) but since you seem uneducated I shall explain:

One of the gameshark codes is to edit your PALLETE, meaning the colors of Mario. It does not directly mean Luigi because I can also change into ultrasuperlegatodarkmario.

While the yoshi code is just something that switches you're model for the yoshi in the game. Hence why it is glitchy.

The first code just maps Yoshi's model from the roof scene onto Mario, the second changes Mario's colors and/or uses a custom texture. For them to be "playable", they would need some programming of their own.
