Hi; I recently bought the Foot Tappers on CD after all these years and it's fantastic. down memory lane, like a lot of folk, saw them in 84-85 at Newcastle Uni. Happy days! along with the Bavarian Stompers!!!
I woulld never have had a tatoo, but hey! I knew wendy may as as pete bilingsley's (arturo basik? lurkers and blubbery hellbellies) sister. pete (top man) always used to explain wendy's aparent rudeness was due to the fact that she was very short sighted! WOW I LOVE YOU TUBE!!!!!!
where did you get this and have you got any more? I loved this group when I was 15 ive got their album aint that far from boothill but i cant listen to it (no record player)
Brings back great memories of my early teen years. The Boot Hill Foot Tappers were fantastic. I've got a record player if your looking to find a new home for your album??
I don't think I can recommend the album this is taken from highly enough "Ain't That Far From Boothill" is fantastic. If you like this video& style of music you will love the LP. The band were well before my time - I couldn't believe it when they reformed for one night only in 1992 and played the Mean Fiddler in Harlesden (for the 10th Birthday of the venue). Back then bands reforming was a bit less common than today. Nice one!
This might be the happiest band I've ever seen. I love every one of them! I like it when you mention the date of the recording ...so I can relate it to what I was doing at the time.
