Ed, I hope you can see that energy efficiency TAXATION is a better alternative than bans... not just for LIGHT BULBS , but also cars, buildings etc: It gives significant government income -for renewable projects etc -on the reduced sales (currently 2 BILLION light bulb sales annually USA) while people keep a choice.
