Also I can identify Irish influence in the way of rolling the 'r' before a vowell or even the 'l' sound... I'm not sure about the way of stressing the sentences, the 'intonation'... if there are people with further knowledge about English accents I would be so glad to read their opinion.
It is curious. I'm from Spain but I speak English mainly with London-southern British accent, finding some similarities with NY English. Despite vowels are shorter and they tend to be stronger, as well as the 'l' has got a characteritically American pronunciation and 't' sounds very liquid, NY English is completely non-rhotic which is the growing trend in British dialects, in opposition to the vast majority of American dialects. Any possible influence of English settlers or non-rhotic Dutch?
You left outta your list the word "the" which of course we Bronxites say as "da"; as in "I come from da Bronx." Unless, of course, you mean New York accent as in Manhattan?
I love your eyes. Very lovely. And great video. :3
