I'd say skyrim is quite common, one of my friend torrent the game and we shared it among the whole class. AWESOME. Not to get hated tho, i personally PAID for team fortress 2 before it was free, annoyed.. And bought MW3, payday the heist. games on steam. Only skyrim was outta my budget.

I own BF3, MW2 and Crysis 2, all were disappointing preorders. Crysis 2 is alright but nothing fun like the original, MW3 is no different from the last installment and I need to upgrade my hardware to enjoy BF3. Overall id tell people to downland those games as they are not worth the price point except for Batman, Skyrim & Trine 2, those titles have been near prefect games and I cant say enough good things.

There is so much wrong here I'm not even sure where to start. First, the games were not "stolen". Stealing is where you deprive somebody of their property while taking it for yourself. This is copying. Big difference! If I was to steal your car, you can't still drive it, but if I copy a file off of your hard drive, you still have the original on your computer. Also, there is nothing saying that these people would have ever purchased the games anyway so to call them lost sales is not right.

Online Pass has little to no affect on piracy. Its a way for publishers/developers to make money on a single copy of a game multiple times. Its bad because it (amongst other things) lowers a publishers/developers motive to deliver a good product. If you are dissatisfied with a game and deicide to sell it, the publishers have a chance that the next person that owns it will pay for the locked out content, so they have made more profit with out the need to print another disc.
