Well stated...I believe your info is a good basis to keep people informed and possibly even enhance the industry's innovation to address a potential hazard. Electronics need to evolve to serve their users in a safe manner (kind of like the safety development with cars) but in the end, the consumer needs to "drive" cautiously regardless of how advanced and safe the technology evolves.

i think this is entirely people's fault - i don't trust anyone that has used a mobile phone or anything similar and can't feel what it does inside their head and body. there's something wrong with you if you can't feel that. i can feel it if someone nearby me us using such a device. all tech EM pollutes to some extent, but focused microwaves heating their cells...at least some folks call them burners, so they know what it causes.

I used to work on transmitters in the 1970's-1980's and all transmitters cook your organs, The rate of damage is consistent with the power output, distance from the transmitter and duration of exposure. While the power is small (compared to military transmitters which can cook your kidneys and liver in a few minutes) it's still very risky. The organic damage it does is similar in both radio and microwave transmitters and it is caused by the carrier wave and not the signal itself.

Not sure what the statistics are in adults, but i would presume that because adults use cellphones more than children, there would definatly be an increase in the number of brain tumors occuring.
Source of this is? 1975-1985 the average was 24/100K from 1986-1995 it went to 30/100K in children 15 and younger.
Recent sources showing increases refer to 2000 vs 2005 of going from 27.6 to 30.0/100K and claim a 2.7% per year growth rate w/ little real data to back it up. The reality is 6 of the 10 years 1986-1995 had rates higher than the 30.0/100K in children.
It just goes to show that limited data can be manipulated to show what you want to see. People use this as scare tactics.

Q: What cell phone was used?
If it was Analog & Digital were the test done with the phone in Analog mode? All phones were Analog or A&D at that time in the US.
The radiation level of the signals from Digital Cell phones is significantly lower than that of Analog phones. That's part of the reason when we still used Digital/Analog phones they consumed the battery at 4x the rate.
Reducing the power output does reduce the damage done but keep in mind that The rate of damage is consistent with the power output, distance from the transmitter and duration of exposure. so if it is close to your body it will cause more cellular damage. Also wireless headsets are transmitters, they just use less power. A cell phone will do damage to any part of the body especially the kidney and liver. Keeping it on your belt at the front, right side should reduce exposure to sensitive areas.

it is true, because not only do i feel dizzy and sick to my stomach when i'm around them but my hands break out in blisters just from being in the same room as them!! When I first had a mobile, the pay as you talk ones in the uk as they first came onto the market. The phone would cause discomfort within my ear, after moderate usage and would only subside when i moved it away / changed ear. i agree that further research should be done on the long term risks of exposure to cell phones, but it be more of a surprise to find if they did cause harm. cells generally use frequencies of a few GHz, about 5 orders of magnitude less energetic than normal visible light and 11 orders of magnitude less than nasty gamma rays). so the fact that they penetrate our skull isn't necessarily harmful, since all they can do is heat up the water in our bodies slightly (much less than a fever would).
Loads of products give off radiation. The levels of radiation are way too low to cause any damaging effects. Hair net? Sort it out son. Sounds like your brain is f**ked already.

Well stated...I believe your info is a good basis to keep people informed and possibly even enhance the industry's innovation to address a potential hazard. Electronics need to evolve to serve their users in a safe manner (kind of like the safety development with cars) but in the end, the consumer needs to "drive" cautiously regardless of how advanced and safe the technology evolves.

This is very true and thank you for the information. There are many polluting emfs around us polluting our bodies & minds. But all is not lost. The right foods and supplements can detox the effects of emfs on dna and cells, including the brain. We gotta cut out the so called food that are nothing more than fillers. That is lacking nutrients & relearn the power of juicing, vitamins and herbs.

i think this is entirely people's fault - i don't trust anyone that has used a mobile phone or anything similar and can't feel what it does inside their head and body. there's something wrong with you if you can't feel that. i can feel it if someone nearby me us using such a device. all tech EM pollutes to some extent, but focused microwaves heating their cells...at least some folks call them burners, so they know what it causes.
so what if something is marketed, it doesn't make you not feel it.

I have a comment that sums all these comments up: If the gov wants to thin the herd they can and will and there is nothing you can do about it. They can do it on a small scale with many options available. So enjoy the life you have now and quit worrying about it. Cell phone power has gone down (true...) Now they use more towers (same thing) except now wether you use a cell phone or not you GET IT TOO! Just enjoy life and live in the country if you can. You havde a better chance. GO GREEN lol!

I do realize that the radiation is bad, and can be quite dangerous, but I don't think it's quite as bad today as in the photos from the 90's you showed.

I personally enjoy my nice and really good cell phone. I also enjoy wifi, microwaves, tv, radio, and anything else that puts out radiation. i've been living in it for about 18 years now and I am still very healthy in all aspects. the only type of head set i will wear is my small and reliable bluetooth headset. which itself releases radio waves. no matter how bad people say cell phones are, they wont ever go away. GREAT EXAMPLE: cigarettes.
but cigarettes are worse. that's easy to see.

I used to work on transmitters in the 1970's-1980's and all transmitters cook your organs, The rate of damage is consistent with the power output, distance from the transmitter and duration of exposure. While the power is small (compared to military transmitters which can cook your kidneys and liver in a few minutes) it's still very risky. The organic damage it does is similar in both radio and microwave transmitters and it is caused by the carrier wave and not the signal itself.

Another thing to point out, was that typical Analog phones had about a 1.5W/Kg of radiation when put to the head (1.6W/Kg is FCC requirement)
Today's digital cell phones average around 0.25W/Kg.
The penetration into the childs head on the picture at that level would be much less than the image shown of the adult.
And please note that those images are taken with a cellphone placed against the head.
One question for everyone to ponder.

Actually it has. Brain cancer now causes more deaths than any other cancers in children. It has also taken over leucemia in the amount of deaths every year. In children, there has been a 21% increase in brain tumors over the past few years.
Not sure what the statistics are in adults, but i would presume that because adults use cellphones more than children, there would definatly be an increase in the number of brain tumors occuring.

Source of this is? 1975-1985 the average was 24/100K from 1986-1995 it went to 30/100K in children 15 and younger.
Recent sources showing increases refer to 2000 vs 2005 of going from 27.6 to 30.0/100K and claim a 2.7% per year growth rate w/ little real data to back it up. The reality is 6 of the 10 years 1986-1995 had rates higher than the 30.0/100K in children.
It just goes to show that limited data can be manipulated to show what you want to see. People use this as scare tactics.

I notice this was on a study in a book from '97. I can assume that the study was done in '97 or earlier.
Q: What cell phone was used?
If it was Analog & Digital were the test done with the phone in Analog mode? All phones were Analog or A&D at that time in the US.
The radiation level of the signals from Digital Cell phones is significantly lower than that of Analog phones. That's part of the reason when we still used Digital/Analog phones they consumed the battery at 4x the rate.

Reducing the power output does reduce the damage done but keep in mind that The rate of damage is consistent with the power output, distance from the transmitter and duration of exposure. so if it is close to your body it will cause more cellular damage. Also wireless headsets are transmitters, they just use less power. A cell phone will do damage to any part of the body especially the kidney and liver. Keeping it on your belt at the front, right side should reduce exposure to sensitive areas.

it is true, because not only do i feel dizzy and sick to my stomach when i'm around them but my hands break out in blisters just from being in the same room as them!! We used to have a wifi router in our home, I got over- exposed to microwaves.. I lost my baby due to it and now i can't go anywhere because i break out in blisters so badly all over my hands whenever i'm around wifi routers and cell phones! They are dangerous, get rid of them! i now use a phone with a cord on it in my home.

The first time I used a cell phone, I could feel the radiation sweep through my head. I had a similar experience when having an x-ray taken at the dentists. What I'm worried about also is mains electricity. Everything from installation wiring in walls to wiring used inside consumer goods (mobile phones, televisions, kettles ect.) should be of the highest grade copper (OCC), extensively shielded with foil, and very thick to reduce impedance.

If you can feel radiation from an Xray then the sun would blind you in a few minutes. There has never been a recorded case of anyone hearing radiation let alone feeling the low isotopic radiation of a Xray. There has been a few cases of people feeling an ionic air disturbance working in reactor piles from careless handling of critical masses but that is ionic effect. There is no taste, no sound other then the feelings of radiation sickness. If you could feel it, hear it you'd be dead eventually

I get headaches when I use my cell phone even for a short time. My ears ache for days. I had a cell phone 4 years ago and had to get rid of it. Three months ago I was required to get a cell phone for my job. Even though I talk on it only about 5 minutes every other day, I still fell the ill effects.

When I first had a mobile, the pay as you talk ones in the uk as they first came onto the market. The phone would cause discomfort within my ear, after moderate usage and would only subside when i moved it away / changed ear. It would feel horrible inside, and would get worse and worse, till i moved the phone away. that was probably 10 years ago or something and never noticed that problem since. I wonder.

You would have more credibility if you took off the electromagnetically operated headphones you are wearing, And I am pretty sure a water molecule is smaller then 12, 6, or 3 inches. 468/frequency in Mhz = 1/2 wave in feet. Cell phone about 880Mhz so a half wave is 6 inches.

Here, in deep raintropical forest, me dont use any cell phone. Me use gongos and sambas to comunicate each other. No problem radiation. also, there's a lot of stuff passing through our bodies all the time. for instance, trillions of neutrinos pass through just your body every second. they just rarely interact with anything, so they don't pose any significant risk. plus we have hundreds of FM radio signals (about 0.1 GHz = 100.0 MHz) passing through our body all the time. should we stop using radios, too? maybe walk around with metal clothes that would act as faraday cages and shield us from electric fields?

i agree that further research should be done on the long term risks of exposure to cell phones, but it be more of a surprise to find if they did cause harm. cells generally use frequencies of a few GHz, about 5 orders of magnitude less energetic than normal visible light and 11 orders of magnitude less than nasty gamma rays). so the fact that they penetrate our skull isn't necessarily harmful, since all they can do is heat up the water in our bodies slightly (much less than a fever would).

I think this is a great cause...I too would experience earaches after each time I used a cell phone...my family thought it was psychosomatic...but I had known better since a 20/20 episode aired a couple of years ago on the dangers of cell phone use...I saw similar pics as the ones in your vid and was sold immediately... people must be alerted to this...keep up the good work...
