Nice vid I remember the cedar fire that was just frigging crazy the witch creek fire when I evacuated from gun stage road was like seeing all these flames on the mountains and not knowing if you were going to make it through the fire but luckily I made it

I know how all of the victims of the southern California wildfires felt after returning and see nothing but a wasteland of burned remains of vegetation, trees and even houses. I was affected by a wildfire in northern California on September 26, 1999. Fortunately I did not lost anything but I felt terrible seeing the remains of houses.

Thanks! At the moment Highland Valley road is covered with sand and dirt so please be careful if you do take on the road. The camera was mounted to a roof rack bar with a ChaseCam clamp mount. The video is sped up to get it under 10 minutes. Check out my video with the Miata where I mounted the camera to the rear tow point.

on a brighter note, Highland Valley Road is a great place to test a sports car. Watch out for joggers on the blind curves in the morning! How did you mount the camera? Did you speed up the video to do this? I've been wanting to do a car one like that! this one was intense. thanks!
