this is an excellent rendering and full of ralph's tricks, most covers are so pathetic one wishes people would leave their heros alone but this stands on its own. great tone and tight action. you sure it isnt ralph?
Saw ralph a few months ago at the pacific road arts centre in wirral. Before playing this song he told the audience that this was a very difficult piece.I think the way you play it is just the way ralph played it that night.Brilliant guitar playing my friend well done.
Yes, Ralph has been a big inspiration, he was the one who opened the door to a lot of great music by being so open his own infuences. Thanks for stopping by and listening/watching and taking the trouble to comment :-)
What can I say. All of your playing is of the highest quality. The sound you eminate from your from guitar is as close to the original recording that I have ever heard.
It must have taken a great deal of practice and talent. Fantastic!
@houndheadhenry In the liner notes to Blue Skies, Ralph says how listened and listened to those old blues players until he learned to play their tunes.
Fabulous, well done

Enjoyed listening very much. I think the skill you think you might be lacking is obtained and secured through the hours you've so obviously put in.
