  • Saw ralph a few months ago at the pacific road arts centre in wirral. Before playing this song he told the audience that this was a very difficult piece.I think the way you play it is just the way ralph played it that night.Brilliant guitar playing my friend well done.

    From dave in liverpool

  • Yes, Ralph has been a big inspiration, he was the one who opened the door to a lot of great music by being so open his own infuences. Thanks for stopping by and listening/watching and taking the trouble to comment :-)

  • Enjoyed listening very much. I think the skill you think you might be lacking is obtained and secured through the hours you've so obviously put in.

  • What can I say. All of your playing is of the highest quality. The sound you eminate from your from guitar is as close to the original recording that I have ever heard.

It must have taken a great deal of practice and talent. Fantastic!

  • More practice than talent I figure :-) Thanks for commenting so nicely

  • @houndheadhenry In the liner notes to Blue Skies, Ralph says how listened and listened to those old blues players until he learned to play their tunes.

You seem to have taken up the torch H. Nice one.
