generally if you compare gilby clark's rythm to izzy's one, you'll hear that izzy always played that little note, that little lick that made the song better....gilby just plays the chords

Not really Izzy was the brilliance behind Guns he was their best songwriter and his melodies are simple yet perfect for Slash's playing. So without Izzy it just was dead. I do agree with you tho that Slash is amazing!
