  • @leanlifter1 Thank you so much for sharing. Look like Raid and fast hdd will not reflect the performance of the test. Test is perfect for CPU. I am creating right now final version with online submitting of scores where you can create account and see your scores and share them. Also It will be two tests. This one will be "Basic" and it will be "Heavy or Extreme" where it will be up to 8 or 12 video converting simultaneously. It will load even 2x 2960x to 100%

  • @leanlifter1 Yeah your cpu is alright. However if I would run it i would maxed out with maximum overclock for my cooling.

P.S: look like you did use windows 8?

  • @krasav4ik82 How did you confirm if I was using Win 8 ?

  • @leanlifter1 You wrote it :-) was it Windows 8?

  • @krasav4ik82 Ya Evaluation build I mean Windows 7 legit LOL.

  • @leanlifter1 does Moroz Video Converter Benchmark runs on that? Can you try it. Thank you.

  • @krasav4ik82 Yes everything runs extremely well on Windows 8 64bit evaluation build including your software however I had to install it under compatibility settings Windows XP sp3.

  • @krasav4ik82 I expect your new i7 2600K to be in @ under 3min ?

  • @leanlifter1 Yeah me too I except my maximum overclock 4.8-5Ghz with i7 2600k around 3 min10sec - 3 min 50 seconds. I did not build yet system. I am still testing i7 930 with different frequencies. I want to report to you guys my real life tests. If i7 2600k will be 3 minutes 20 seconds than i7 2600k can convert video full HD with Moroz Video Converter faster than real time! I am hoping for it. Moroz Video Converter benchmark is based on Moroz Video Converter. So same speed.

  • @krasav4ik82 I wait for the day soon when I will upgrade to i5 2500K however for myself as primarily a gamer / tech enthusiast I don't think I will really see a difference on the desktop with what I use on a day to day basis because IMHO the HDDs are the bottleneck even with mid range Phenom II x4 processing power.

  • @leanlifter1 during this tes you saw that my 5400 rpm hard drive or your raid 7200 rpm which is more than 3x faster than my hdd pocket wd passport that I install the benchmark on - does not make difference. Faster hdd does not make any difference, unless you copy files and making back ups. Starts up I can wait another 30 second instead of paying 100 dollars more. SSD does not perform for the money they cost. I will down to SSD when 250 gb will cost 100 bucks till that time, thanks.

  • @krasav4ik82 SSD may be Marketing Propaganda but access time and extended read speeds are allot better on SSD however I do not use this type of performance and most main stream gamers and user don't need it.

  • @leanlifter1 It is not nessasary to run it in windows xp mode for Windows 7. Run it as normal by clicking on setup for windows xp or windows 7. For windows 7 - windows xp mode is not tested. However software works perfectly for windows xp operating system.

  • Score for my retired system.Keep in mind that Moroz Video Converter Benchmark is CPU benchmark and no video card is involved. This time I am not recording video in real time while benching.

Processor:Intel Core i7 930 overclocked from 2.8Ghz (stock) to 3.6Ghz with stock intel heatsink. HT is on.

    Memory:16Gb of DDR3 - G.Skill RipJaws Blue Edition 1333Mhz CAS 7

Hard drive:USB2.0 External WD Passport 500Gb

    Operating System:Windows 7 64 bit Ultimate

    beta v1.0 - My score: 04:34:79 (4min and 34 sec)

  • My score - 22 mins :(

  • @MrArctic049 Can you please tell us your system. Like this.

Processor: Intel or AMD and model

    Memory: in GB

Hard Drive: HDD or SSD? What is rpm

    Operating System:

Thank you. Lets start sharing scores here. I will try to make it online in next beta. I also will try to include random lottery for 8 gb of ddr3 by G.Skill.

  • @krasav4ik82 Intel Dual-core processor T4200, 3GB DDR3, 160GB HDD, OS: Win7 Ultimate 32bit.

  • @MrArctic049 my macbook 2010 core 2 duo 2.4 Ghz , 8gb of ddr3 and 500 gb westenr digital black edition hdd with Windows 7 64 Ultimate is 17 minutes.

  • So is this the full thing, like sample? And also does is have a run time? I know that things like fraps demo (not the full things) have limited record time. Is is the same with this one? Thanks

  • @jerbear938 This is a video convert benchmark. It does not record at all. It is convert the video file into a smaller video file and report you the time. Thank you. Try it, post your score.

  • it wont let me to open the link :/

  • @expresszor Save the link. It is 200 mb. It has a high quality video file that you will convert into small video file. let me know if you need help.

  • @krasav4ik82

Why would i save the link? I cant open it, which means that i cant download the file :(

  • @expresszor Use save as not open. You cant open it, it is over 200 mb download. You can only download it.

  • @krasav4ik82

    Oh like that ^^ sorry i misunderstood u :D

  • @krasav4ik82 I get a 403 error "Your client does not have permission to get URL"

  • @leanlifter1 Copy and paste URL. This is youtube URL redirection problems. Paste it in your internet browser and make sure it is what it is.

  • @krasav4ik82 Thanx it's half way done DLing and I will report back here my findings in the format you outlined when all data is compiled PEACE.

  • @krasav4ik82 Will the Phenom II x4 955 @ 3.7ghz beat your score LOL ?

  • @leanlifter1 Test it. Let see it. I dont know. It is very interesting to see.

  • @leanlifter1 Please post your score. It will be interesting to see how your Phenom II x4 3.7Ghz vs i7 930 @ 3.6Ghz.
