I can only recall hearing the tail end of the radio commentary. The commentator reckoned that City edged it that day. It's not quite a goal of the month effort though, I'll give you that!

I was there - right behind the goal. Everything went into slow mo at that point!

One of the biggest smash n grabs in history. If I remember right that was City's only effort on goal all day while Everton hit the woodwork something like three times. Remember a couple of goalmouth scrambles. Just one of those days where the ball was never going to go in the city net.
