Both NJ and JLL have a thing for phrasing and time - I just love it. JLL has always been a natural master of phrasing and cadence. Evan as part of his power and few of his old slick licks fall away - he sustains as he ages along with greats like Johnny Cash, James Taylor & George Jones for the same reason. The greats don't just run through their songs with a few tricks thrown around  but manage to find their magical cadence in their love for speaking to the heart of the English language.

THANKS for sharing! I had seen recent footage of Jerry Lee in a long time. He looks a little aged & frail here...but his piano playing & voice are as strong as ever! Good for him. And it's nice to see he still has a head full of hair...silver though it is. Baldness certainly doesn't seem to have run in his family. Always wonderful to see stars from different generations do duos of the great classics of yesteryear. THANKS again! :)
