I like some of the stuff by AvA, but when I think of the drummer the only word that comes to mind is "Fail."

He has no talent whatsoever. Listen to every'things magic, then this one, and you'll notice the drums are nearly identical (give or take fills)

It may be just because I'm used to listening to drummers like Barker, Tre Cool, and Dominic Howard, but he really needs to get more creative.

AvA really isn't even close to being talented instrumentally. Lyrically, they're quite good, but that's something else entirely. Tom's cool, but he can't sing. Their bassist isn't anything special. Their guitarist doesn't have very interesting riffs. And their drummer just flat out sucks.

Sure, he fits in perfect considering he's got simple boring rhythms for simple boring songs. Tre cool isnt amazing but at least he's unique and has an actual style

The studio work in AVA is incredible. Extremely well produced. When played live, of course they can't make it sound exactly like the studio. AVA is more of a studio band. Blink is a live band, but still sounds great in the studio. Both bands are great.:)
