This is a great video to help men look their best, especially now that Valentine's Day is around the corner. Women indeed do like a clean-shaven man because let's face it, who doesn't like smooth skin? We are a shaving product company providing the first 6 blade razor to our consumers and we want to also help out men and women in preparation for February 14th. View our YouTube channel for helpful hints on what NOT to do this Valentine's Day! Thanks for posting!
@1xraydoc Continued from below: Regarding your final comment, I'm trying to suggest the "best" shave, hence my suggestion to shave in the shower. Shaving outside of a shower is merely adequate IMHO, but not the "best."
I DID forget to mention one thing, however: don't shave everyday... if you can help it. Try to shave every other day. That may not be an option for you, but your face will thank you for the "time off," assuming you can do it.
@1xraydoc I appreciate your comments here. While straight-razor shaving MAY be skill "most" men can acquire, I still maintain it will take them time to master it... and my "shave the shaving cream off a balloon cleanly first, without popping it" is a very respectable test. I doubt most men will put in the time it'll take to learn this. Your "across the grain" comment is a good suggestion -- it's an incremental step.
Shaving with a straight razor is a skill which MOST men can easily learn. The pre-shave oil is usually gone after the first pass and you should do an across the grain pass before attempting an against the grain pass. Its fine to shave after a shower as long as you have a good prep.
I exclusively shave in the shower now. I don't even use a mirror. I can feel my way through the entire process. Great tips!
